“I don’t even know where to start with this place. If I were on death row and could choose a final meal, it would be from Lalibela. I’ve never eaten something there that wasn’t spectacular. The spice level is perfect, enough to warm up your lips but not too hot to overpower the perfect blend of spices. My only complaint is that I don’t live down the street from it anymore. BEST FOOD EVER!“

“A staple for sioux falls. My family and I have been eating here for what feels like FOREVER--and it NEVER gets old. I get the chicken shish tawook and then either the house salad or tabbouleh. If you have never been, go for the Saturday buffet, so you can try more items and find your favorite. Sanaa has supported our community AND other parts of the world, which is amazing. She is funny and kind and I enjoy her food (sometimes a couple times a week). LOVE THIS PLACE.“

“We are visiting from Hawaii and was looking for a place that served rice. We found this place and decided to take a chance. We ordered a cali roll and a shrimp tempura roll for the kids and then a chicken hibachi plate and japanese fried rice. The food was good and the yummy sauce added the extra flavor I didn't know it needed. The only thing though that we didn't care for was the chicken was overcooked and dry.“

“This is the 25th anniversary of Sioux Falls’, first Japanese restaurant. It’s the only authentic Japanese restaurant in town, owned by Japanese people. For the life of me, I can’t understand why someone would go to a Japanese restaurant owned by Chinese or Thai. Would you go to an Italian restaurant owned by Egyptians?
Compared to my home state of Florida, this place is super inexpensive. The fish is actual sushi grade, flown in from Miami. I’ve only been to this restaurant twice, in these many years, but it’s a gem. I wish it was in my town.“

“I stopped by for a quick drink and I am happy I did. Woodgrain Brewing is legit. They have a decent beer selection and they give a true brewery vibe. They know what they’re doing. I tasted a couple of their beers, IPA, sours, and settled on the wheat. It was crisp and worked well all around. A must visit.“

Once explained, they took us to our usual booth so that I could park my mobility scooter without interfering with anyone else. When it was time for us to place our order, she knew exactly what I wanted and exactly how it was supposed to be made. She also took it upon herself to go into the kitchen to make sure that was being made properly as I can't have the sandwich with a crispy coating. that is obviously above and beyond. This is obviously the way we are treated every time we come into the restaurant, as they are happy to see us again and of course serve us again. “Nate and Taco alone make the Top Hat my favorite bar. They learned my name so fast and can even name all of my favorite drinks (and can most of the time guess which one I want at the time) It's a nice feeling when you're feeling down.. I've brought friends and family, and they treated them the same. quick to remember names and drinks. And it's the only bar i feel safe in. It's also a great place for a very interesting and diverse crowd if that's your cup of tea! If you want some food that isn't a frozen pizza, don't plan to eat there. But that frozen pizza has been a part of a lot of good memories ☺️“

We were greeted by many staff members before we could even get up to put our name in for a table! Awesome! We ordered the spinach artichoke dip which was absolutely fantastic! Then my wife and I got the Blueberry Bison Burger and the Tandoori Melt! Holy cow were these both amazing!! We were in town for a doctors appt and were recommended to this place. “My wife and I love this place. We go almost every week. The fresh Vietnamese spring rolls are unreal, and the pho is phenomenal. We usually rotate between the beef and the beef with extra beef balls, but we’ve tried the chicken too and it’s solid. I like my broth spicy, and they always accommodate that no problem. The food is consistently great, and it’s a warm, family-run spot that feels like a staple in our household. They’ve also got solid Chinese and Vietnamese options if you’re in the mood to try something else. Just a really good place all around.“
