“Overall, a very good dining experience. Nicely structured menu with options. Drinks were well prepared and their status checked as expected. Service staff was better than expected with main waitress exceptional. It had been several years (and a previous owner) since dining at Jake's and I'm happy last night happened. “The waitress was great, so accommodating and patient as I had many dietary restrictions. But I’m confused as to why the cook/chef/person in the kitchen wouldn’t allow her to take a picture of the ingredients on a box of their food?? It took multiple attempts for our waitress to go in back and check for certain ingredients because they wouldn’t let her just take a pic and show me. Very disturbing. Your customers should have access to read the ingredients in all of the food you offer. Fortunately your server is the one giving you 4 stars, otherwise scenarios like this will usually get you 1 star from me.“

“We were in Saturday for a late birthday lunch and it was absolutely perfect! The food was phenomenal, everyone in our group loved what they ordered, but beyond that our server Austin was amazing. We were a little rowdy and he was great at putting up with our nonsense and was so much fun but also very knowledgeable and made great food recommendations. I had a burger that Austin recommended and it was delicious! We also really enjoyed the bar tender too but unfortunately I didn’t get her name. Overall it was a great experience and we will definitely be back!“

Really, I just don't like it when they have a limited menu, just because of a soccer tournament. “Deadwood is a busy place to travel. Mustang Sally’s is no different they were pretty busy when I was there. Their food is really good, I bought the bacon cheeseburger deluxe with fries, we had curds and barbecue boneless wings. Everyone loved their fries, they were amazing!

I liked how they didn’t dip the chicken in the barbecue sauce but poured it over the wings. I also really enjoyed having everything cut like tomatoes, onions, lettuce, and placed on the plate, not on the burger. Ultimately it made for an extremely nice experience.

I wanted a lunch option that wasn’t too expensive, had menu options that were filling, and a business near the main attractions and this place matched every single one of those. You won’t be disappointed.“

“Excellent food in a nice quiet environment with comfortable seating. Very interesting how it is located in the place of the original Gem from the 1800s. If you're a fan of the HBO Deadwood series then take note the restaurant seems to honor another HBO series - Chernobyl, because that's how hot their horseradish is!. Far better than any horseradish I've ever eaten.“
