“A trip back to the golden age of nightclubs. A real prohibition/film noir vibe. Top flight warm and friendly service from bar and waiting staff. Bar manager Rhys is right across the whole operation. Also really knowledgeable about the cultural history of the venue - which has been rocking it since 1948. Incredible music from sax player / Nat King Cole voiced Derek Williams, plus singers Laura Mayo and Dianne Sherrill fronting a superb jazz combo led by a highly charismatic pianist. The burlesque show is end to end class with elegance and humour balanced perfectly by co producers Jonny Gowow (musical director) and Tessa Mendoza (hostess / lead dancer). Food also of equally high standard. The prime rib is a near religious experience!“
“First time diners at this restaurant but we'll be back. We had the pork chop and the steak - both were done just as we ordered - these are substantial servings. We shared the red Thai curry steamed PEI mussels - an interesting riff on the typical PEI mussels appetizer - though not as spicy as I had hoped - I'll ask about that next time. Modest wine list but we selected a cabernet we both enjoyed. Service was engaging and competent - all-in-all, a good meal and a good time.“
“So accommodating of my dietary requirements, our waiter Nate took time to annotate the entire menu to work out what was possible. Delicious food which looked like a work of art on the plate. Would definitely recommend and return!Vegetarian options: The kitchen is very happy to adapt dishesDietary restrictions: Brilliant understanding from the waiting staff and kitchen very willing to adapt dishes“
“Apr 2024 - After our Bluebird Cafe plan fell through, Marjie made early reservations at Jane’s for Dinner and music on Sunday night. We thoroughly enjoyed the unique menu, especially the okra appetizer. John, the proprietor, told us about his place and we settled in to listen to Addy/Domino. Fantastic musicianship from the various band members who seemed to gradually increase every few songs. I’m not sure we ever heard any original material like I expected, but she’s a wonderful singer of classics. We headed back across the river and got to see the TN statehouse all lit up on the hill.“
“We were in Nashville for a few days and The Treehouse was near our stay. We decided to pop in for dinner and our meal was delicious. Tanner, our server, was very attentive and knowledgeable. His recommendations were great and we enjoyed the atmosphere and food. My husband had the chicken (bring your appetite - it is huge!) and I had the gnocchi. We also enjoyed the burrata starter. We hope to return again when the weather is nice and enjoy their large outdoor space.“
“I celebrated my 40th birthday in Nashville last weekend and the highlight was Harper’s! The food is incredible but the service almost tops the food. Our server William was so attentive to every need and made our dining experience one of the best we’ve had! Thank you Harper’s we’ll be back!“
“We tried Henrietta Red today, based on a recommendation from Southern Living magazine. Everything we had was delicious. I had the roasted oysters with tomato chili sauce, gulf shrimp, and my husband had the sourdough French Toast. It was all delicious! Highly recommend!!!“
“I had the best experience yesterday. Not only was it the first time I've ever eaten alone but it was my birthday on the 12th and the staff were soo sweet. The food was amazing and it was such a beautiful place inside and out. Highly recommend“
“I may have had the best meal of my 55-year life! I had the scallops (off-menu special) and my husband had the pork chops. What an amazing explosion of flavors in both dishes! Lobster bisque was subtle (not too salty) and rich - so good! And the service was off the charts fantastic! Props to Max and Andrew! Delicious wines and great live music, which wasn't too loud. We could still talk easily. The only cons were the Brussels sprouts, which are brought out as a complementary extra, but they were just steamed and lightly seasoned. I like Brussels sprouts, but these were simply not great (like why bother?). And the seating was not super comfortable. Bench seat was hard - per my husband - and my chair was really low and the table had a large pedestal bottom, so between those two and my long legs, I had to sit sideways. But it won't stop us from coming back. The restaurant itself is beautiful! Excellent meal and lovely evening!“
“We just returned from a fun long weekend in Nashville. Eating at Cafe Roze for dinner was our culinary high light. Their chili eggplant dish was unbelievable. What I wouldn’t do for that recipe…and the talent to prepare it to perfection. I wanted to continue vegetarian so I ordered the simple pasta - also done to perfection. Others at our table had the paprika chicken, wedge salad with salmon and vegetarian dinner bowl. All raved about their dish and ate every bite. This is a very special cafe. Small intimate and lovely - but the food is the star. The noise level was not crazy loud either which we appreciated. Best restaurant in Nashville by a mile.“
“EVERY SINGLE PART of my birthday dinner last night was exceptional! From crafted cocktails, crispy avocado rice, bacon wrapped dates, lamb that melted in your mouth, so much of the newly crafted autumn menu that we were able to enjoy, plus staff that made us feel like we were the most important people in the room (we are talking especially about you, Ally!). Butcher and Bee is now my "you have to go here" recommendation to anyone coming to Nashville. And order the Chef's Choice. We are still a bit in awe of the culinary splendor we received. Thank you!“
“I have been here many times over the last 10 years. It is the best Restaurant in Nashville. The food is absolutely delicious and the service is excellent. Our server on this visit was very attentive and he was very personable. Thank you Tosin Abudiore for being our server on this visit. They have so many dishes that is so tasteful and enjoyable. The lunch specials are always reasonable. Our favorite is so hard not to order which is the Fillet Madallions Oscar. Topped with crabmeat and Bernice sauce. Deliciousness! I highly recommend this Restaurant when in Nashville Tennessee“
“I go here at least once a week, sometimes twice. The food is simply amazing, from the tacos to the ramen to the sandwiches. Friendly staff and owner and great espresso drinks to boot. There's something for everyone on the menu, and you can trust it's all going to be delicious. Cannot recommend this place enough; it's a true gem.“
“Ive been coming to RAD since they opened. It's a must every time we come to Nashville. Their pasta game is always insane. Last night we had the agnolotti and mushroom pasta. The agnolotti was super flavorful, bright and down right delicious. We love sitting at the bar bc their bartenders are usually great to chat with and most importantly there is more room for the pasta bowls and plates. Tanner was spot on with his recommendations, he made an excellent old fashioned too.“
“We sat on the patio as we had a dog with us. Our server Colin was very good but he was literally the only one waiting on a bunch of tables so service was very slow. We didn't get our bar drinks until after our dinner arrived and we asked about them. Totally not his fault though. Food was decent. Would go again.“
“Each time we fly through Nashville, we stopped here to eat. The food is really good, and the service is top-notch. The manager, Maverick? I think, will be seen busing tables during busy times. The wait staff is always friendly. This time we had Tracy- a spunky gal with a great attitude. No matter what you order you can’t go wrong with a side of their queso. That wonderfully smooth hot cheese dip is good on everything. Also, most of the time we split when we go here- we get the double patty burger- it’s excellent!“
“Sat outside on a beautiful March Wednesday for Happy hour and had it to ourselves! Our server was exceptionally friendly and helpful with recommendations. We both ordered off the HH menu- Mockingbird burger jr. - $8 plus $3 if you add bacon, and large serving of tots - $5. HH drinks were full size and delicious. I got the house Pinot Grigio and my hubby got the Dealers Choice cocktail with gin and loved it. Nice place and fun atmosphere!!! We will return!“
“They have 2 floors. The wait list for the 1st floor is separate from upstairs. Upstairs also has live music while the 1st floor does not. This isn't something that is very clearly communicated. Luckily my wife and I opted for the upstairs wait list since it had a shorter queue and we were pleasantly surprised when we walked in and heard live music! All the staff we interacted with were very friendly especially the hostess upstairs. She even offered to move us from a 2 seat table to a 4 seat once one opened up so we could have more room.We started with the jalapeno rangoons which were very good! My wife ordered the hot chicken mac while I ordered the MC Burger with a side of mac.My burger was 10/10 very tasty and a decent size. My Mac and cheese however seemed a bit bland and unseasoned. My wife loved her hot chicken mac but she also had a few drinks?. Personally I tried it and was turned off due to it having a STRONG iron taste as it was served in a skillet.Overall the experience was nice but be ready to pay the typical steep Broadway prices for simple bar food.ALSO worth noting they charge a 3% fee if you pay with card so you may want to bring cash!Parking: They don't have parking but there are plenty of lots nearbyWheelchair accessibility: This place seems like it would be very difficult to maneuver a wheelchair in. The upstairs would be a no-go and the 1st floor looked very compact and crowded“
“J.D. we thank you so much for your kindness tonight as our waiter! You were superb !!! The food was delicious, we had the spare ribs Mac n cheese and it was filling and delicious. My daughter had salmon and Brussels sprouts and she said it was amazing. Our drinks were perfect and we ended the night with some Cuban Crema“
“You don’t feel like you are in the business direct of Nashville. The vibe in this place is amazing. The service is 5⭐️ from the moment you walk in to the Black Rabbit. The rabbit rolls are incredible. Really any of their bread is a must order. The cherry glazed tuna was a stat in itself. We complimented it with the spiced tomato polenta which was very nice. For our mains, we had the half roast chicken and the ribeye. The chicken is one you’d ask for as your last meal. Tommy’s attention to detail is incredible. He was not happy with our steak and had it redone. It gave us more time with the chicken and the steak was worth the wait. The flavor the wood fire gives it is one of the best flavors ever. If you haven’t been here you need to try it for date night.Bonus: the live music is very good and not an intrusion to your dinner experience.“
“Visited this spot when visiting Nashville and staying in the Gulch neighbourhood. Great spot and awesome experience. What we enjoyed the most was that it did not feel as touristy and were able to see our food being prepared in the open kitchen. Highly recommended!“
“Impeccable meal. Everything was cooked to perfection and so flavorful with decent portion sizes. Menu is small so they can make sure every dish on offer is fantastic. Wine was very good and reasonably priced. Server was attentive but not intrusive. We would love to come back!Parking: Very limited parking, we had to park across the street at the Publix.“
“This place has never let me down (multiple locations). Don't go in with "traditional taco" expectations, but their flavor combos are awesome and while potentially seeming overproduced, everything makes sense. You can't go wrong with anything, but my faves are Korean fried rice and chicken and waffle.“
“The food was delicious! Duck wings, bacon wrapped quail, and wagyu steak were perfect. Service was great! Staff were kind and knowledgeable. Only thing I would change was the lighting. It was so dark in the restaurant with just candles everywhere.“
“This place is amazing!! Went for a birthday and every staff member we encountered wished a happy birthday. Our server Brian was knowledgeable and personable, great service! The food was beyond delicious. We ordered the swordfish, schnitzel, hush puppies, oysters, calamari and would recommend all those dishes!“
“This was an amazing food and wine journey. Do yourself a favor and get the wine pairing (if you drink) as the Somm was spot on and extremely talented! The food was so creative, fun, and delicious. The environment is engaging and fun. Honestly it was better to us then The French Laundry for creativeness, approachability and environment. Everything was simply amazing while relaxed and fun. The chefs are beyond talented, chatting with you while building and keeping their rhythm on their dishes. It was a phenomenal adventure and we can’t wait to go back!“
“A HUGE thank you to Star, a hostess at the front that assisted us in getting a reservation. We had a very long day of travel and were eager to get a nice meal. Star helped us get a table and a time that worked for us, got us seated and acclimated when we arrived, and was super accommodating and nice to my kid. Food is great, the decor and ambience is exceptional. Bar service might have been a big sluggish but the quality cocktails made it worth the wait. Thank you again to Star- our Nashville travels are complete and her attention/service sticks out as the best experience we had service wise throughout the week!“
“Wat hebben we hier lekker gegeten! Ik had de Ceasar wrap en heb meegegeten van de spaghetti. Allebei erg lekker en daarnaast kan je de maaltijd nog aanvullen met verschillende sides gerechten. De dames in de bediening waren erg vriendelijk en hielpen graag mee met de keuzes van de biertjes. De locatie moet je wel even zoeken, omdat het in East Nashville is en niet downtown, maar ik vond dit een fijne aanvulling op onze ervaringen downtown.“
“This is a great restaurant, awesome food and service! I am celiac and I was impressed by their gluten free selections, the unbelievable flavor of their food, healthy sized portions, great atmosphere, attentiveness of everyone working there(especially our server and her husband) and the relaxed atmosphere. Next time we are in Nashville The Farm House will be our first place to eat. I would give it a 5 out of 5 rating.“
“Stopped by for lunch on our way into Nashville. The food (vinegar potatoes, burger, and beer) was great and the service (Pam) was amazing. We liked it so much we went back for a light lunch the next day (bao buns and edemame). Callie was great and gave us some suggestions for dinner. We will definitely be back to Lauter.“
“Husband and I did bar dining on a Sunday with 815 reservations, great staff to patron ratio and we never were waiting on anything or felt like we were being ignored. Complementary valet with the hotel is included, I could see how if it were a busier evening or you did the prefixe dinner how you can go over that time and possibly end up paying, but we did not have an issue. Mushroom soup to start with was absolutely delicious and beautiful presentation. Husband had tile fish entrée and I had pork medallions which were both definitely tasty, but both a little over salted and the spice rub on the outside of the pork was a little over powering, but still a tasty flavor. Very delicious whiskey sour and Manhattan cocktails. No dress code is enforced but everyone seemed to have business casual/cocktail attire on, but there was only about eight other people in the restaurant. Saw several people around us getting oysters and caviar, so definitely would go here if that is your thing“
“This place is a GEM! The food was incredibly well thought out and delicious, the atmosphere was lovely mid day on a Thursday and our server DJ was out of this world kind, bubbly, and full of advice to cover all our needs while in Nashville. Hard round of applause!“
“Our first visit to Bastion was seamless from start to finish. It was one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. Food, drinks, even the water…all of it was excellent. They have a convenient and validated parking lot (which already was enough to win my heart). From the second we walked in, it was clear to me that the staff are experts at anticipating needs. Our water glasses were never more than half full. Each course was delicious and thoughtfully presented at the exact moment we were ready for the next round. The chefs were friendly and knowledgeable. Our bill was given to us in a timely way. These little moments only added to the fantastic culinary experience. We are already planning our next Bastion visit!“
“If you come here I would advise getting here when they open or making a reservation. They are that popular and for good reason. Their food is excellent and their staff is top notch. If you are looking for something for a special day like birthday or anniversary then this is the place to go. You will not be disappointed.“
“Took my husband to June because he’s a sucker for chef tastings. June is a newer Sean Brock restaurant in Eat Nashville that offers this.Alabama Peach, Char Roe, Green CorianderHickory Smoked Eel, Charleston Ice Cream, Courgette, Kinome Appalachian Land Fish, Maine Lobster, Sundried Tomato, DillKinmedai, Celery, Salt & Pepper Cucumber, Chamomile Hokkaido Scallop, Chanterelle, Medjool Date, Bay Laurel Suji Ara, Sweet Corn, Lemongrass, Tulsi BasilWatermelon & Foie GrasEggplant, Buckwheat, Chilean Black Truffle, Apple MintStuffed Pig Tail DoughnutTexas Deer Tartare, Blackberry, Red Sorrel, Cedar Berries California Squab, Thai Banana, "Cherry Tomato", Sour Plum Ossabaw Pork, Porcini Mushroom, Sake Lees, Fava BeanBlackberry & Lemon Verbena Cheesecake Pandan & Raspberry Ice Cream SandwichPeach, Orgeat, and Chamomile Ice CreamBuckwheat ChurroChocolate Chip Cookie Dough Bon BonCreamsicle Soft CaramelCherry Chunk FudgeEverything was good but not memorable. “The food was nothing short of spectacular! Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and was able to recommend some things for us to try. The ambience was great as well, dimly lit high-quality throughout. You will not be disappointed.“
“We tried to eat here in 2022, but the wait was 1-2 hours.. turns out that’s just their norm because that’s how long we waited this time. I try not to have high expectations for places, but when you wait that long you just hope it’s going be worth it. The coffee I picked out on the online menu wasn’t “available in store” (?) the waiter said, and the food looked fancier than it tasted. The biscuit was hard and crumbled to pieces with every bite, and the “house fries” were actually soggy potato wedges.“
“Came here with a group of 12 other women & it was such a vibe! We made a reservation for rooftop and god a couch area with two tables in front of us & it worked out so well. Highly recommend especially if you’re coming for a bachelorette party or birthday party anything like that. It was such a vibe! I got the bang bang chicken it was sooooo good!“
“A great spot to grab a poboy sandwich. Had the catfish one and ended up with way more food than I needed. Should have gotten the half portion. Comeback slaw was uninteresting and I suggest skipping it for a different side. Loved the sandwich though. Came out fast and VERY hot (heat hot, not spicy). Would come back if I'm ever in Nashville again.“
“This has, without a doubt, been one of the best dining experiences I've had at a restaurant (other than my regular favorites) in a very long time. From the initial greeting at the door to the recommendations from the waiter, to the quality of the cocktails and food, attentiveness of the staff, and decor. It has changed my opinion of what you can expect from a hotel restaurant. Highest recommendations.“
“Seated quickly even without reservations, everyone working there was very kind and welcoming, and food came quickly as well. Clean facilities, cute decor, and the food was tasty (except we personally didn't like the chicken sausage but that's just us! Some may find it delicious). The lemon poppy seed bread for the French toast was a wonderful twist on a classic breakfast dish imo.“
“This is one of the best meals I have had in Nashville. I got the Economy three-course meal option and I highly recommend the Moroccan Meatballs as a first course. The service was great, and the drinks were pretty good. I highly recommend this restaurant for a group.“
“Logan is absolutely amazing! We were in town for my daughter's 21st birthday from Wisconsin & Delaware & he could NOT have been a better server! The food is phenomenal!!!! I highly recommend the poutine, garlic parm fries, Clyde's plant based burger was a tasty burger in general & the Dank Hash was incredible! Do not skip passed this place ESPECIALLY when Logan is working!!!!! Best server I've quite literally ever had!“
“super cool spot! unassumingly chill considered its on 12S but they have excellent service, reasonable prices, and great food! get a bloody mary, bleu potato wedges, and blackened tilapia tacos!! also keep an eye out for the daily drink specials like 2 for 1 beers on tuesday, $5 mules on wednesday, and $5 mimosas / $7 bloodys on sunday! worth noting that they have an extensive vegan / gluten free menu as well“
“Good spot for cocktails in the Gulch. Gertie’s has one of the largest spirit selections in Nashville! The cocktails are very good and the service is also very good. Sometimes it gets crowded and the bar staff falls a little behind, but to me it’s a great way to have conversation and enjoy the atmosphere while we wait for our drinks to arrive. I recommend this place for before or after dinner drinks.Did you find this review helpful? If so, hit the like button below!“
“As a vegetarian the burger were actually really good. In addition to the veggie burger, I also got their truffle fries and their fried pickles. Now it was my first time eating fried pickles and it was actually really good. I was genuinely surprised by how good and how much I liked my pickles. Other than that their fries are thinner than what I like but are still good and servers were on top of your needs.“
“I booked an event with Brittany and everything went swimmingly. We had two tables in the center of the action, had great service, and Brittany made the entire process easy and enjoyable. Would recommend booking an event here if you want a fun, casual dinner with a large group.“
“Pretty decent restaurant. Food was pretty good. I think it was slightly overpriced but it was tasty. My friend's burger was undercooked but it wasn't too big of a deal. The food was very hot and fresh when it came out! Free parking was a plus!“
“I hosted an event at their new downtown Clarksville location. the venue is beautiful with an amazing view. Everybody loved their wings and couldn't get enough of the catfish sliders. The service was exceptional!!! We highly recommend them.“
“First visit was great. My girlfriend and I have been wanting to check out the bar for a few months now and we really liked it. The bartender Cara/Kara was great. She was very welcoming and hospitable. Been craving the French dip all week since we visited and will definitely be back soon for another and to play pool, of course.“
