We were warmly greeted as we walked in and the young woman working the counter was quick to answer our questions and patient while we decide, I didn’t feel rushed at all. “Each time we fly through Nashville, we stopped here to eat. The food is really good, and the service is top-notch. The manager, Maverick? I think, will be seen busing tables during busy times. The wait staff is always friendly. This time we had Tracy- a spunky gal with a great attitude. No matter what you order you can’t go wrong with a side of their queso. That wonderfully smooth hot cheese dip is good on everything. Also, most of the time we split when we go here- we get the double patty burger- it’s excellent!“

“I highly recommend a visit to Etch! Everything I had was delicious, but the beef carpaccio was especially outstanding! The bartenders are great, and are more than happy to whip you up something off menu if you ask (like the strawberry gimlet pictured). Also, the pavlova was a delicious light and refreshing dessert, another great recommendation from the bartenders! The menu is creative and well balanced, and I think everyone will find something they love here!“

“Recently ate here with a friend and I cannot fault it. We were seated in the gallery area which is next to the main dining. It has a really cosy feel to it.

We got the sausage cheddar biscuits to share. I then got the short rib and my friend got the scallops and for side we shared max and cheese. Every dish comes with mash too.

The food was cooked to perfection and very generous portions. Priced well.

“Our dinner at Fancypants was really, really good. If I could rate it a 4.5 I would, but I think it's worth rounding up in this case. Tiernan was an excellent guide for the menu and really our whole evening - top notch service. Almost everything we ate was unique and delicious - the caesar salad, cauliflower, pasta shells, and the pork chop was probably the best thing (my husband could have licked the plate). The chai tiramisu was so weird and amazing all at the same time. Cocktails were delicious. Only the tuna fell short on flavor. Where Fancypants lacked for me was the atmosphere. If I could just sit in the outdoor space and not hear or feel anything around me... would have been great. It was incredibly humid the evening we dined there, and the fans didn't help at all. Also, sitting along Dickerson pike, there was a constant drag race of trucks and motorcycles who really distracted the dining experience. If I go back, I will definitely request indoor seating.“

“We came to Husk with high expectations for elevated Southern cuisine, and the quality of the food certainly delivered. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared, and it’s clear the kitchen takes great pride in its ingredients and execution.

That said, we were a bit disappointed by the limited menu selection, as we expected a few more options. We also felt that some of the dishes were priced on the high side relative to the portion sizes.

Overall, it was a good dining experience, and we’re glad we tried it. While it wasn’t quite the value or variety we were hoping for, others looking for refined Southern cooking may still enjoy it. For us, it was a one-time experience.“

“My kids took me for my birthday. Walking in, the ladies at the front were very nice wishing me a happy birthday. Our waiter, Clifton, could not have been any nicer or attentive. My menu came with a Happy Birthday Anna written on it. The whole experience was really special. Everyone was just friendly and did their job over and above expectations. The food was very good. My daughter and I split a 12 oz Cowgirl ribeye which was perfect. My son got the Cowboy ribeye and he said it was amazing. The Mac n cheese was good. My DIL got the pasta primavera and she liked it. The butter cake was great and the waiter surprised me with Crème Brûlée. All very good. Great atmosphere. Definitely will be going back. Thank you for making my birthday memorable!“

“Velvet Taco has great tasting flavor combinations, But… the tortillas are cold grocery store type. I ended up just eating the inside of my tacos with chips because the tortillas reminded me of playdoh… change the tortillas to a more authentic (cooked) tortilla and it’ll be sooo much better!!“

The inability to split checks properly was very frustrating as our table had to transfer money from phone to phone and bank to bank in order to pay for our food individually under one tab. If someone wants to pay for their own food that should be an option automatically. The payment options killied the experience. Our waitress did not really ask for drink orders just floated incase we wanted to ask her for something else. The food was great! And ambience was fantastic. I would come back but never again in a group.“

Ha was fantastic, not just greeting us, but throughout the rest of the meal and our time at the restaurant! She was constantly coming around to make us smile, but not in an annoying way...she did it so well that we felt special and well taken care of and she really made the morning special. Not only was she funny and energetic, but she was also extremely heartfelt and sincere! Again, something I have never experienced before at a restaurant! The food and service were also incredible!!
