“OK, so I gotta mention this one time I came by to this location as I was on my way to Alabama and my wiper blade actually broke loose off the windshield in my car so I stopped in here and I spoke Basil and without hesitation, he allowed me to use his personal tools to be able to repair the wiper blade on my Mercedes. I gotta give this place five stars. This young man was a lifesaver considering that I have a 4 Hour drive back to Alabama The bathrooms are definitely spotless for sure. Smells great aside from the customer that went into the bathroom and pretty much blew up the toilet but otherwise bathroom looked amazing. It looks great. The people here were amazingly friendly again shout out to basil. Thanks so much for helping me out.“

My frustration was primarily with the response I received when I called, not with the owner’s handling of the situation afterward. I have since updated my review and rating to reflect the way the situation was addressed.

Let me start by saying I’ve been coming to Monamie for at least two years. I love the coffee and think the quality is excellent. Unfortunately, the customer service and overall experience have been seriously lacking recently, which is the reason for this review.

As both a coffee lover and a business owner, I understand the importance of customer service and providing customers with the product they paid for. I frequently order the 2 oz “doppio” shots listed on the website for use in some of my recipes. When I order 2 ounces, I expect to receive 2 ounces.

On multiple occasions, I have spent $25–$30 on espresso shots only to be significantly shorted on the amount received. The last time I addressed the issue, the missing ounces were poured and the situation was resolved. Today, however, I ordered six doppio shots, which should have totaled 12 ounces. At $3 each, that’s not an insignificant purchase.

When I got home, I weighed the espresso after zeroing out my kitchen scale and found that I had only received 7 ounces instead of the 12 ounces I paid for. I called the shop to let them know, and the response I received was disappointing. The barista immediately said, “We’ve had this conversation with you before, but our machine only pulls a little over an ounce for the pours.”

My response was simple: the website states that a doppio is 2 ounces. It doesn’t matter what the machine pulls if customers are being charged for 2 ounces and receiving barely over half of that amount. The issue isn’t the machine, it’s that the product being sold doesn’t match what is being advertised.

The dismissive attitude, lack of accountability, and condescending response were honestly more frustrating than the missing espresso itself. As a long-time customer, I expected better. Considering the shop is nearly a 20 minute round trip from my home, this experience was enough for me to decide to take my business elsewhere.“

“This location opening near our house was our first time learning about Scooter’s but man are we glad it’s here! The customer service is truly outstanding…such a pleasant surprise at a time when customer service is a dying art in so many business. The team here isn’t just good, they’re fantastic. Every single person is so friendly, makes a genuine effort to ask how you’re doing or if you have any fun plans and they’re just so chipper and sociable. Not to mention the coffee is great, the “scoot on around” is marketing gold, and their branding is 10/10. Also, if you’re a sugar free coffee drinker, one of my fave things is that they actually offer their seasonal drinks in sugar free options, which very few places are good about offering, so I love that I can join in on the festive drinks here. You guys do an amazing job and we appreciate you!“

They were hot and fresh, even after being in the car a few minutes after my dad picked them up and brought them home. “I was pretty excited to try this place. Maybe I hyped it too much in my head. I ordered the regular sized, skinny latte, sf vanilla syrup with bs boba. I ordered the breakfast sandwich with bacon, egg, cheese and it had a hash brown on the sandwich as well. I missed that part of the description so I just scraped it off as it added an unpleasant texture. I did like that there was a creamy sriracha to add to the sandwich, as this is how I would make one as well.
I'm old school so I didn't love impersonal the kiosk ordering station. It took me twice as long to order because then I had the time to look through the whole menu. I would hate to feel rushed with people behind me waiting for me to click through all the screens. It's that difficult or anything and I'm glad I had the chance to browse the catalog so to speak. The place was absolutely dead when I went in there. I would think it may get busy in there at certain times, the vibe looked like it would appeal to a younger crowd.“

“This is the perfect cup of coffee. I got an oat milk latte and it was delicious. Exactly the milk to coffee ratio I like and the perfect color. I didn’t have any expectations going here because I’d never been and I’m from Texas. Couldn’t recommend it enough. My boyfriend got the white bison latte and he loves it. He likes sweeter coffee so if that is your vibe then it’s definitely for you. Amazing place all around. Our barista (the manager today) had a wonderful attitude and was very kind and energetic. We needed a little positivity this morning and this place was a blessing. Thank you White Bison.“

She went and asked for water but was told she had to buy something to get it. This is the first and only time we have had this problem at Starbucks!
