“EDIT: The owner personally reached out, apologized, refunded my order, and offered a gift card. I appreciate her taking the concern seriously and making an effort to resolve the issue. My frustration was primarily with the response I received when I called, not with the owner’s handling of the situation afterward. I have since updated my review and rating to reflect the way the situation was addressed.

Let me start by saying I’ve been coming to Monamie for at least two years. I love the coffee and think the quality is excellent. Unfortunately, the customer service and overall experience have been seriously lacking recently, which is the reason for this review.

As both a coffee lover and a business owner, I understand the importance of customer service and providing customers with the product they paid for. I frequently order the 2 oz “doppio” shots listed on the website for use in some of my recipes. When I order 2 ounces, I expect to receive 2 ounces.

On multiple occasions, I have spent $25–$30 on espresso shots only to be significantly shorted on the amount received. The last time I addressed the issue, the missing ounces were poured and the situation was resolved. Today, however, I ordered six doppio shots, which should have totaled 12 ounces. At $3 each, that’s not an insignificant purchase.

When I got home, I weighed the espresso after zeroing out my kitchen scale and found that I had only received 7 ounces instead of the 12 ounces I paid for. I called the shop to let them know, and the response I received was disappointing. The barista immediately said, “We’ve had this conversation with you before, but our machine only pulls a little over an ounce for the pours.”

My response was simple: the website states that a doppio is 2 ounces. It doesn’t matter what the machine pulls if customers are being charged for 2 ounces and receiving barely over half of that amount. The issue isn’t the machine, it’s that the product being sold doesn’t match what is being advertised.

The dismissive attitude, lack of accountability, and condescending response were honestly more frustrating than the missing espresso itself. As a long-time customer, I expected better. Considering the shop is nearly a 20 minute round trip from my home, this experience was enough for me to decide to take my business elsewhere.“

“The food and service at Abem Ethiopian restaurant is amazing!! We were craving Ethiopian food after having moved to TN from the San Francisco Bay Area and didn’t mind the 1.5hour drive after experiencing a selection of dishes at Abem. We enjoyed a large salad, veggie combo and doro tibs which we shared and still had leftovers to enjoy at home. Any time we’re anywhere near Nashville we stop at Abem. This is a family owned business operated with love. Hope you enjoy it, too.“

“What can I say to express my satisfaction. 5 stars is not enough. I don’t live around here, and while in town, came for a small morning snack. I don’t like cream cheese unless it’s on a plain bagel (not toasted) and it can only be Philadelphia brand. Weird, I know, but that’s just how it is for me.
They make their cream cheese in house so I thought I’d give it a try.
And let me tell you the experience I had was ✨incredible✨
I tried a small bite first.

The realization: Wasn’t bad… was actually good! First thought was there wasn’t a single thing bad about it. I added more on my bagel.

The acceptance: With every bite, I tasted another reason why this was the best cream cheese I had ever had (coming from a person who doesn’t like cream cheese). First it melts in your mouth like whipped butter on a roll, then it graces your tastebuds like a flower blesses your sense of smell and gives this delicate but well rounded premium cream cheese flavor.

The second realization: Before I could even get through a few bites I was overcome with the fact that this cream cheese was the answer to my original dislike of the food. I was falling in love. But as I mentioned, I don’t live anywhere near here. When I tell you, tears started welling up in my eyes that this was likely the last time I would get to eat this creamy miracle. I was straight up CRYING IN MY CAR. Full streams now and I couldn’t stop laughing at myself for getting so emotional over food.
I’ve never gotten emotional over food like this before. Maybe it’s the pregnancy hormones, but I like to believe that this bagel place just knows that to make good food, you have to start with high quality ingredients. Oof that sounds like a corporate slogan. *cringe* But I can’t think of better words to describe what’s going on in there when they make their food. Anyways….

TLDR: get the cream cheese. I laughed, I cried, I wish I lived next to this place so I could get fat off their from-scratch bagels. 10/10 would recommend.“

“This location opening near our house was our first time learning about Scooter’s but man are we glad it’s here! The customer service is truly outstanding…such a pleasant surprise at a time when customer service is a dying art in so many business. The team here isn’t just good, they’re fantastic. Every single person is so friendly, makes a genuine effort to ask how you’re doing or if you have any fun plans and they’re just so chipper and sociable. Not to mention the coffee is great, the “scoot on around” is marketing gold, and their branding is 10/10. Also, if you’re a sugar free coffee drinker, one of my fave things is that they actually offer their seasonal drinks in sugar free options, which very few places are good about offering, so I love that I can join in on the festive drinks here. You guys do an amazing job and we appreciate you!“

“I absolutely love this place and go through phases where I come here all the time. I’ve loved everything I’ve tried so far !!

Banana bread latte: I’m not a huge coffee fan but this drink is soo good. Has a nice cinnamon flavor and it’s sweet but not too sweet.

Watermelon dirty soda: watermelon, coconut, and sprite. Unbelievably refreshing. I adore this drink. The coconut is so subtle but there. Also wish it wasn’t seasonal 😭

Rocket pop: Blue raspberry, watermelon, and lemonade. So good I had to get it twice, I think this one might be my fav of all time. So pretty, so refreshing, so yummy, perfect amount of all the flavors. It doesn’t even get watered down fr, perfect from start to finish.

Butterfly Lavender Lemonade: Butterfly pea tea (which is naturally that beautiful dark blue/purple color), lavender, lemonade, and I added coconut syrup. Absolutely amazing. Lowkey might be better than Rocket Pop. Crisp, bright, beautiful flavor with the subtlest floral notes. The only thing I had a problem about was that I couldn’t really taste the coconut. I chose the syrup to keep from altering the drink’s texture but I think I’ll try the coconut puree next time. I highly recommend getting it blended instead of iced.

Cloud coffee: it actually lives up to the hype. The texture is so smooth and velvety compared to regular coffee. I’ve only gotten it once cus I don’t drink a lot of coffee but I would get it again if I was in the mood for a fancy coffee drink that wasn’t too sweet.

Pizza melt: i thought this was gonna be more of a mini pizza situation but it ended up being a sandwich lmfaooo that’s my own ignorance. The sandwich was really good though. I think they should put more pizza sauce on it because of how thick the bread is but the ingredients tasted fresh and it was really yummy.

Cinnamon pretzel bites: LOVE LOVE LOVE these. I just wish they would start going crazier with the cinnamon. I want them pretzel bites drowning in cinnamon sugar. They’re always hot and fresh and give you a good portion. I also wish they came with the icing 😩“

“This is the perfect cup of coffee. I got an oat milk latte and it was delicious. Exactly the milk to coffee ratio I like and the perfect color. I didn’t have any expectations going here because I’d never been and I’m from Texas. Couldn’t recommend it enough. My boyfriend got the white bison latte and he loves it. He likes sweeter coffee so if that is your vibe then it’s definitely for you. Amazing place all around. Our barista (the manager today) had a wonderful attitude and was very kind and energetic. We needed a little positivity this morning and this place was a blessing. Thank you White Bison.“

“This location is always over crowded and hard to pull in and out of for the drive through location. I had purchased 2 coffee beverages but my daughter wanted a cup of water. She went and asked for water but was told she had to buy something to get it. This is the first and only time we have had this problem at Starbucks! Probably won't go back to this location again..Disappointed!“

“I can’t recommend this Dunkin’ enough! It’s become my go-to coffee spot because they’re always consistent, which is something I’ve struggled to find at other coffee shops. On top of that, the staff is amazing. Everyone is friendly and respectful! They’re also incredibly time efficient, which I really appreciate when I’m in a hurry. Even during busy times, they keep things moving without sacrificing quality. It’s always a great experience, and that’s why I keep coming back. Highly recommend! 😁“

“Done with speedway after 25 faithfull years. I always looked the other way on the fuel prices being a few cents higher for the convenience and reward system but now that they have made it so that you cannot refill a gas card after 7:00 p.m. and you cannot use a gas card to pay at the pump there's absolutely no reason to continue paying extra prices on gas and merchandise. I knew when they were purchased by 7-Eleven that it would go downhill fast and it has I buy $500 gas cards per week to fuel up at pump multiple vehicles and work nights I can no longer refill my cards and my family cannot use the card to pay at the pump avoiding risking being skimmed with a credit card at the pump. they say it's because of fraud on gift cards but if an employee is not behind the fraud then how is their fraud how is refilling a gift card before 7:00 any less fraudulent then after 7:00 how is me coming in to pay with my kid card any more of a chance of being fraudulent than not an employee cannot tell if it was fraudulently filled inside anymore than they can outside goodbye Speedway“

“OK, so I gotta mention this one time I came by to this location as I was on my way to Alabama and my wiper blade actually broke loose off the windshield in my car so I stopped in here and I spoke Basil and without hesitation, he allowed me to use his personal tools to be able to repair the wiper blade on my Mercedes. I gotta give this place five stars. This young man was a lifesaver considering that I have a 4 Hour drive back to Alabama The bathrooms are definitely spotless for sure. Smells great aside from the customer that went into the bathroom and pretty much blew up the toilet but otherwise bathroom looked amazing. It looks great. The people here were amazingly friendly again shout out to basil. Thanks so much for helping me out.“

“Wonderful! Best panaderia in nashville. The conchas are incredible. If you’re lucky, they’ll have come out of the oven recently and still be on cooling racks in the center of the store. Make sure to get them from those. The mini cheesecakes are terrific. Best churros we’ve had anywhere. Great apple tart/fritter. Overall less greasy and fresher than some other places. Owners and workers are always warm and inviting. For first timers, you grab a tray and tongs which are right by the door. Fill up the tray on your own then take to the counter to pay. Prices vary a bit but, in general, everything is about $1.25. In other words, very inexpensive and great value.“
