“After traveling and enjoying fine Italian food I came back to Memphis with a craving of gnocchi.. quick google search brought me here !! And I’m so glad it did !! The fried green tomatoes and cornbread were delicious apps to start off !! A few mixed drinks and a glass of wine soothed the mood . The Gnocchi did not disappoint and the “ blue crab “ spaghetti was a pleasant surprise!! But the desert!!! The CHOCOLATE STICKY TOFFEE PUDDING ….Let me be clear … BEST DESERT IN ALL MY TRAVELS !! Cannot recommend Andrew Michael’s enough“

It’s the kind of neighborhood restaurant that you can come back to again and again and know you’re going to get a good meal and good service. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick lunch or sitting down for dinner with family and friends, El Mezcal is definitely worth visiting. “I’m honestly mad at myself for passing Salt for over a year and never stopping in! We finally went on a Wednesday to celebrate my cousin’s birthday, and from the minute we walked through the door, the experience was TOP TIER!
The greeter at the front was professional, pleasant and so welcoming. Our entire party hadn’t arrived yet, so she explained that we would be seated once everyone was there and invited us to enjoy the bar in the meantime. And let me tell you the bartender was a whole vibe! 😂 Full of personality and energy. Even if you didn’t plan on having a cocktail, his energy alone was going to make you order one.
Once our party arrived, we were seated right away and our server was an absolute sweetheart. Then the food came out hot, fresh, beautifully presented and DELICIOUS.
We went during happy hour before the Wednesday night painting event, and the prices were so reasonable that we pretty much ordered our way through the menu just so everybody could taste different things. And nothing disappointed! But those lamb chops! Hands down some of the best I’ve had anywhere. They were lean, seasoned well, cooked perfectly and not covered in a bunch of fat. The sides were just as good.
And I definitely can’t leave out the music! The DJ was on point! The music was great and added so much to the atmosphere. It was the perfect mix where you could enjoy yourself, vibe to the music and still enjoy the people you came with. Definitely another plus for us!
We enjoyed the food so much, the chef actually came out, introduced himself and spoke with us, which made the experience even better.
They also had a complimentary birthday booth on Wednesday, which was perfect since we were celebrating a birthday.
What really impressed me, though, was the entire atmosphere. The place was **clean, inviting and well put together and everyone we encountered was friendly and professional. You can tell there’s an effort being made to give people a great experience, not just serve food and drinks.
We literally wanted to go back the NEXT DAY, but unfortunately work said otherwise. So that should tell you everything!
Salt has officially made our list of places we’ll be visiting regularly, and now we can’t wait to come back and try the brunch.
If you’ve been passing this place like I was, STOP PASSING IT. Go inside! Great food, great service, great drinks, great music, great atmosphere and reasonable prices. We had an amazing time and will definitely be back.“

“Friend and I had never been to a Mellow Mushroom and decided to try it out. We were in the mood for pizza. Very happy with the largest all-meat pizza we got! The night we stopped they were doing trivia. The place was packed. Still plenty of room to eat. Would definitely go back and try more things.“

“I've been here twice and got the Rib-Eye Steak yes it has a price to it but when i say its absolutely worth it I promise you it is I get it cooked medium and its so juicy and packed with flavor ill definitely be getting it more and my waitress Shelby has been super lovey and attentive they have great staff here“
