“Best catfish in the south!!!“

“Have you ever been to a Huddle House? It’s like a Waffle House had a child with an IHop. The food offerings are many and varied. But I almost never try anything else, I just love their chicken fried steak breakfast too much!

I’ve been to several HH restaurants across Tennessee but this one in Baxter, TN has always been my favorite. They are very friendly and the service is always fast and the food fantastic!“

“We cook all of our burgers to the internal temperature of 165 degrees which is well done, but because we cook them on a smoker grill, they will still have a pink color, as smoking meats gives meat a pink color. I’m sorry you thought they were raw and threw them away. They were well done“

“Dinner, 2 adults: Chicken Pot Pie, Tilapia & Shrimp 'blackened seasoning' over rice w/ alfredo sauce. Both fresh, delicious!! Typically order comfort food, no mistake on seafood here. Croissants, hot w/ butter, nice change from common breads. Dessert: Chocolate chip cookie w/ ice cream, fudge sauce-- missed the mark if you've ever had 'baked cookies' elsewhere. Server Gina, 'Way beyond good!!-- so thorough, friendly, fun. Plan to return.“

“We go to Logan’s in Cookeville at least once if not twice a week. It is the only sit down restaurant that we can consistently go to & get the best service, best drinks (huge shoutout to Dylan the best bartender, always) & a excellent atmosphere before you get your delicious food that’s always prepared correctly & tastes delicious. Tonight was no exception, another wonderful Thursday date night. Thanks to the entire staff in the bar, essential our server who appeared to be waiting on a lot of tables but was a pro & every customer looked very happy. It was a great dinner, see you this weekend too I am sure💯💯💯“

“It has a menu that takes a bit of getting used to, but the food is worth it! I got the Out West Double Burger tray with fries and hush puppies. The burger was cooked to perfection and the toppings were on point. It kind of reminded me somewhat of a cross between 'prime' BK & 5G. The crinkle fries were standard, but the hush puppies were a bit underwhelming. Overall, a great spot for a quick meal that'll fill you up. Just be prepared to study the menu for a few minutes first!“

“My husband and I ate here last night for the first time and I have to say it exceeded my expectations. From the moment we stepped in the door this place and the staff didn't disappoint. Our waitress was wonderful and very attentive. The food was delicious, portions were good, I had the moose and my husband had the nine iron. We also had the pretzel and it was delicious, loved the beer cheese! I also recommend the pumpkin spice martini, it was a nice fall drink. We will definitely go back here soon!“

“I’ve been going to Drake’s in Cookeville off and on for almost a year now, and I’ve never had a bad experience. Tonight was no different, but I’d say it was the best service I’ve ever received there. I had been craving a great-tasting burger, and despite not being too keen on smashed burgers, I decided to try the cheddar burger with tots. The meal was excellent, but the service made it even better. Although the restaurant wasn’t very busy, I asked if it would be possible to have a little fire going, as that’s one of my favorite things about the place. My waitress, Emma, went and got her manager, Brandon, who kindly built a small fire for me. It’s the simple things that make a difference, and I was able to sit and enjoy the fire after finishing my meal. A big thank you to Emma, Brandon, and the cooks for an outstanding visit!“

“We love eating here and it is always delicious, no matter what we get. Our last server, Gracie, was excellent, helpful and friendly. The manager came out to speak with us and she was great also. However, we wish something could be changed. We LOVE the seafood boil, however my wife could not get a substitution. She loves snow crab, but not lobster or shrimp. They could not substitute for the crab instead of lobster/shrimp. If that could change, we would eat here every week. I LOVED my shrimp boil. Please consider allowing substitutions.“

“I had to go here just because of the name and it was local place that I was happy to patronize. The food was pretty good although I have had better sirloin. The au jus sauce was excellent though. The staff was very nice and checked in often. I do recommend visiting this restaurant as I think they had many items on the menu that sounded really good. I do recommend if you are travelling through Cookeville to give this place a try

Parking: Parking is just for customers no student parking as it's close to university.“

“Walked in hostess was just telling people to sit where they want that the bar was open, seemed kinda lazy instead of walking us to a table. We had returned to eat the Cheesesticks which we love the Nashville Hot and the Chipotle flavor. Fresh food, waiter checked in many times and got us everything we needed.“

In the top 10% of chain restaurant experiences. If not THE best.

The food was absolutely stellar. The roasted brussel sprouts were the best I've ever had anywhere. Salmon and baked sweet potato were also both perfectly prepared, seasoned, and presented. Portions were very generous. I felt guilty leaving any of it on the plate!

Tea was fresh. (Needed a bit more ice)

Service was perfect and the environment was very comfortable.

My only criticism is that the silverware is too large and awkward to use, but this is a common issue in american chain restaurants.“
