“I ate here this past weekend. The pizza was pretty good, much better than I'd hoped based on some other places I'd eaten at around here, and worth a good review on its own. The real star of the show, however, ended up being the french garlic butter side. I like garlic butter with pizza, so I ordered it on a whim. I was surprised how well it complemented the crust and how much it improved the flavor. I'll definitely be dropping in again next time I'm in the area.“

“This a great hidden pizza gem. The thing I liked most was that they are open late and I can still get pizza by the slice. The texture of the crust was soft but crispy and the cheese was perfectly melty. The ambiance was lively and the music was cool too. The service was quick. I would definitely recommend this place and I will be back myself.“

“Unbelievably incredible service. We celebrated our daughter’s 5th birthday while in town from Texas. Every course came out with a candle for her and the server took time to give us thorough advice on places to check out while in town. When it was time to say goodbye to Nashville I saw Tailgate Brewery that caught my attention and the business concept at the airport. Me and my wife decided to eat at Tailgate and try their beers. Honestly the food was great pizza and wings were delicious, the orange wheat beer very good flavor BUT; THE CUSTOMERS SERVICE WAS NOT THE BEST. Hannah need more training in customer service Hannah is not attentive, she did not offer us enamelware. I spent 40 dollars for a good service but, she is rude, she has a bad attitude, she was never friendly, never smile and she got upset because I asked for enamelware, she wanted me to supplicated her to give me enamelware. I was not happy with her attitude and asked her to call the manager then she told me that was a baby. Recommendation they should train their employees better to provide good service. THE FOOD AND BEER ARE VERY DELICIOUS.“

“My husband and I always order pizza from lavera. But last night he surprised me and ordered pasta and let me tell you, WOW!!! I had the Cajun chicken pasta and it was delicious and mouthwatering, fully satisfying in every way. He had the baked ziti and from what I tasted of his it was also way past par. Both had a lot of sauce which is great bc a lot of places skimp on the sauce. We also had the garlic bread and it was literally the BEST garlic bread we've ever had. I'm telling y'all, if you want amazing pasta but not break the bank then order from La Vera. They always meet and exceed our expectations“

“This is a local hole in the wall that's been around for a VERY long time. Pizza crust is super thin. This place is what it is; you'll love it or hate it. I love the buffet, especially the meatballs. Kinda pricey, but what isn't these days.Wheelchair accessibility: No problem on the parking or entrance. Navigating inside with a wheelchair is doable if the chair is small and you're creative, but you won't be able to use the restrooms. For all practical purposes, it's a no-go for the mobility impaired.“

“For a location that is typically staffed by younger (and often seasonal) folks, service is still polite and prompt. The location is definitely much more dated and "greasy spoon" feeling than the Hillsboro Village location, but the pizza remains absolutely delicious. Our crust was crisp and the toppings were generous. The cheese pull was more than adequate! The parking lot is pretty huge, so you won't have too much of an issue finding a spot during lunch or dinner if dining in or picking up.“

Coco's makes their own gelato and has a wide selection of flavors, especially for being not primarily a gelateria. The staff are professional. You enter by the bocce courts, and don't forget they have a bocce league! I will say that the facilities could use updating/reno. Parking can be minority challenging as many of the spots are just feet off of 51st such that backing out of the spots can be tough. Indoor and outdoor seating is available.“

They also have a variety of drinks and events. I like that this can be a family place in some instance and a chill adult date night in others.“

“My husband and I chose to eat here while on our trip in Franklin. Our experience was wonderful. We got the farmers market board, the Spicy Rigatoni Vodka pasta and the Braised Shortrib Lumache pasta. Everything was absolutely delicious. Our waiter was very attentive and though the restaurant was full and brimming with customers, we were well taken care of and there was hardly a wait for anything. “So I love Sam’s! The food is tasty, and service is good. However, last night I ordered the chicken finger/rib platter and was disappointed. My issue is the size of the chicken fingers(and a a little bit the quantity of sweet potato fries)…all 3 chicken fingers were small, with 1 no more than a nice nugget- I did not mention this to my waiter since everyone was slammed. Please revisit the prep work and make sure folks are receiving what they hope for…thanks!“

Parking is not ideal, but it is what it is.The musician, OMG, Will Davenport, was the highlight of my visit, honestly. “I am all about the 4:00pm to 5:30pm weekday happy hour specials of a $15 pie versus $23 on their regular menu. Biting into that incredible coal fired crust is something to be experienced. Watching the pizza’s being prepared from the bar is exciting. Great drinks and a fun place to be! I am a little less enthusiastic of their pasta dishes because of their original bold sauces versus the traditional sauces people are more familiar with.“

“You go to Sal's for the Pizza. But once in a while you just don't feel like pizza so what else is on the menu. How about some Chicken Picatta. With all the food pics posted here on Yelp no one posted the Chicken Picatta. It is a generous cut of chicken breast, sauteed and smothered in lemon, white wine, capers and butter sauce. So many restaurants skimp on the capers. Not Sal's. They do it right. I'd give it 5 starts but its not pizza. ps Service was 5 starts as always!!“
