“Always love the atmosphere and friendly service. The food is always the best. The blackened ribeye was the best my husband has ever had he said and I got the filets which were prepared with the best flavor and potatoes and fried mushrooms and salad was just wonderful. Enjoyed dinner with friends and visits from elderly lady that is always so sweet. Highly recommend this place and as many times as we have been there I’ve never had a bad meal.Just make sure you have reservations.”

I’m so excited to have a restaurant in Newport that we actually enjoy! This place checks all of the boxes, price is amazing for REAL Texas bbq!! The owner John was SO friendly and professional! “My wife and I tried Milanos for the first time. Before we sat down, a nice and helpful young fella greeted us, asked about our day and was generally delightful. This isn't a fancy place - you get up to get your own drinks. However, despite the lack of 'airs', the staff was so pleasant and attentive that the dining experience was amazing. The food was too good and too much. We'll be eating this for days. My wife took the Tour of Milan, which includes four pasta dishes. I had a pepperoni and sausage pizza. Everything was delicious. I can't speak for any other Milanos in other cities, but the one in Newport, Tennessee is amazing.”

“My friends and I went into the new location yesterday for the first time. We absolutely loved our coffee and tea. The atmosphere was so relaxing and welcoming. It is beautifully decorated. The employees were all very friendly. Thank you for bringing this to downtown Newport.”

“I come through here intentionally every year as I really enjoy going there. I normally tent camp, but they have cabins, RV, etc. They have food,drink,music and the French Broad.The staff is there to serve and make you feel welcome.There are some really good roads to explore.”

“If you want boba popping pearls, this is the place to go. Very nice couple with child working, I needed a drink. They sell doughnuts, but I just ate was looking for a drink, and they had Boba. I was excited. I ordered a strawberry drink with dragon fruit poping pearls. Made me happy for sure.My mom loves the bear claws and apple fritters and more, and I'm not sure what she got. Tbh.”

“Loved this place.Visited as a group of 9. Had never been there before.Russian and American choices.It was nice to have a different type of food for our group to try. It's very good.We were the only people there for a little while and it helped make a relaxing family time. We were celebrating 2 family members birthdays, so this helped make those that much more fun.Price wise it was very reasonable.We all were very pleased with eating there.We will return and spread the word for others to visit.Thank you to the owners for a pleasant experience.Parking: In front of the building there is minimal parking, I did not notice the number of spots total. Did not see if there is parking around the building either.”

“Last night, we decided to go here last minute because it was the only restaurant really open at the time and we were not disappointed!! The queso was so good. My quesadilla was a bit messy but that’s just a personal issue ? The staff was so nice and the service was fast!! Granted there were many people there because it was late but the service was still amazing. Staff takes checking ID very seriously and checked mine multiple times because I look young haha. Margarita was great. Pricing was kind of up there and we didn’t get a receipt of any kind, but the quality of the food was so so good! Visit here if you have the time!”

We many times have skipped our on the way home lunch until we come back through Newport. I recommend you stop by. The workers are very polite and sociable. Giving you the good home feeling. “Food is normally always good, we've had an off night but that hasn't stopped us from going back and the next tine they didn't disappoint. The independent owners children wait tables and cook and they are very nice and attentive! We even miss the one gone off to college now! The salads, miso soups, volcano, to the hibachi is all good! And don't forget the bulgoli is amazing! Just wished for more of the sauce to go on the rice. But awesome family & food!”
