“My daughter and husband live in Ringgold, so I come from California every few months to spend time with my grandbabies. We have tried all the "flashy" and "kitchy" restaurants in Chatt, but little did we know that the BEST food is right here in downtown Ringgold! I have long been a fan of real down-home cooking and haven't really enjoyed that authentic flavor made from scratch with fresh ingredients since my grandmother passed in 1995. Effie's ambience is like that of a small-town diner, as it should be. The menu is varied yet traditional American family favorites like meatloaf, chicken-fried, beef tips, etc, plus a slew of sandwiches and vegetable sides. We each ordered something different, and we each were thrilled with our selections. There is no mistaking home-made freshness! Our server was Sherry and she was delightful, attentive, and full of info about the food and the restaurant's namesake. What a wonderful meal! I will be heading back for the catfish and a whole lot of coleslaw on Wednesday.“
“Best chicken I've eaten in a long time. Although not same space as KFC, fast food v. sit down, flavor was amazing. Offerings were spread enough to please the kids but narrow enough to maintain their speciality. If you move to Eastern NC, please let us know. Btw.... I took the left over slaw home, yeah it was that good.“
“Food was great as usual. I more so had a question about the bread. I got a croissant as usual but was just wondering if they have changed supplier or if this is just a new kind of croissant they are using as it was much different from ones I’ve had before. Not really flaky or layered and didn’t have the same texture.“
“I am just visiting from florida, and had the need to feed a large group. When I went in I figured it was going to take a while to receive my order, but these folks had it ready and under 5 minutes. Impressive! They are a credit to the chain“
“I work near the restaurant and it has never been less than delicious. I can get a snack pack for under $10 and get chicken I would rank in the top 3 of Chattanooga. The guy that works out front is personable and friendly. I go there at least twice a week.“
“Step right up to the culinary festival that is Chick-fil-A, where the employees are the ringmasters of hospitality! No matter if the sun’s blazing like a beach bum’s back in July or it’s colder than a polar bear’s toenail, these folks serve up smiles and sandwiches with the energy of a cheerleading squad on double espresso. The chicken? Oh, it’s as consistent as the tides, my friends—crispy, juicy, and seasoned with a secret blend of spices that could make even a seagull sing hallelujah. It’s a place where the lemonade is as sweet as the staff, and the waffle fries are a golden-brown ticket to tastebud nirvana. So, if you’re craving a bite that’s quick, delicious, and served with a side of sunshine, flap on over to Chick-fil-A. Just remember to say please and thank you, because manners are always on the menu at this happy chicken haven! And just in case this review does not indicate MY chic-fil-a - Cleveland, TN., on Paul Huff - Ya'll ROCK!!“
