“After reading many positive reviews, we decided to try it for ourselves tonight. We were not disappointed! We both got the catfish plate, one with fries and coleslaw, and the other with fries and baked beans. The catfish filet was huge! Everything was hot and fresh. The baked beans and coleslaw had an amazing flavor. The fries were hot and crispy, as requested. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a delicious meal.“

“Fantastic food. I had the fried pork chop. Very well done. Tons of flavor, very juicy delicious. It was a very large serving. Great. I had the black-eyed peas. I'm pretty sure they were crowder peas or some other type of field pea. They were delicious but they were not black-eyed peas like I am use to. It was a very good serving. I had the greens but they were a little salty. I told the chef not to berate the food but just to remind him to double check the seasoning. I thought they were very salty. They also had green peas, macaroni, green beans, and maybe more. The corn pone was also very good. Will definitely return for some different meat items.“

“Despite some lukewarm reviews for the brisket, I decided to get some for my anniversary. Ordered some takeout along with the pork rolls that my wife loves. She and I were crazy about the brisket, tender and juicy. Will definitely order it again. BTW, I liked the atmosphere of the dining area. I believe we have a local BBQ place that Memphis folks would want to make the drive for.“
