“You wouldn’t expect much from a little taco stand way out in Dickson County. But the stellar online reviews drew me far outside my Nashville bubble to this little food truck behind a tiny house with a covered dining area. The charm was immediately evident. And kudos to Juanita’s for serving very fresh food, having quite an extensive menu, and keeping long hours while most restaurants out in the country close early.

The tortillas must be homemade, because they are a thing of beauty! The pollo and asada tacos are okay, not great. But the carnitas tacos are astoundingly good! Pulled pork and little bits of tasty pork fat emerge amidst the fresh cilantro and onions! Juanita’s is a worthy pilgrimage and a stunning hidden gem! They even have an outdoor sink to wash your hands after chowing down on their delicious food! That might have been my favorite surprise!“

“10/10 GREAT SERVICE. We had all we needed. He asked multiple times if we were good. We had drinks within seconds of being seated & they had a full house. 🤩 thank you guys for a good meal. Not to mention they was ON TOP of busting tables. Which I love seeing, since I’m a server. I was very impressed.“

“I love the people at Javi's Restaurant. Their food is delicious, but the people go beyond being good to their customers. My front tire was going flat when I got there, after emptying my trunk and trying to get my spare out, I was hot and exhausted. I went in to get water and the 2 men working there went out and changed my tire. I tried to pay them, but they refused to accept any payment.“

“We usually get our food to go and even though my husband has never cared for Mexican food, he loves Camino's food! Our son and his family live in Arizona and when they visit, they always go to Camino's a couple of times. They say they cannot get that good of Mexican food near where they live. The business is clean and I feel good about their rating of 100% or close to it when they are inspected!“
