“Before I give praise, I will clarify that certain juice and açaí options do run out really quickly so be sure to get there an hour or two before they close! Other than that, their juices are amazing and they have a cool little program that lets you redeem a free juice for buying several which I like. The juices last 3-4 hours after opening and 3 days if you’re just refrigerating them; be mindful these are unpasteurized and perishable so I only get two at a time when I go.”

“My name is Paul Ragnoli. I’m from the Detroit, MI. area. Recently, I visited the Sam’s Club in Hendersonville, TN. to buy a hat bc it was raining while we were there. I went to the clothing dept. where I approached an elderly, smiling lady named Marvis who was folding clothes! I asked her where the hats were and she said they don’t sell hats there and directed me to Walmart, just down the road. I struck up a conversation with her and we talked for quite a while. Marvis is 84 years old and is a very intelligent, hard working and dedicated employee. Imagine the experience she brings to the table!?Having been a former manage, as I was, we talked about workplace environment and employee / management interaction. We talked about how nice it is to have the manager / supervisor recognize you and say good morning or good afternoon, whatever the case may be. Teamwork makes everyone successful, and knowing your team mates names and their personal story lends a sense of personal worth to the workers. After all, kindness is free and the feeling it gives to your employees is immeasurable! I always treated my employees with respect, a sense of appreciation and worth and never took them for granted. Although Marvis didn’t spell it out in so many words, I sensed their could be some room for improvement in this area. I thoroughly LOVED talking to that lady! She is witty, smart, and funny! If I wasn’t in a rush to meet my son for dinner, I would have loved to pick her brain some more. So, if anyone in management is reading this, please stop by and show some respect for someone who has put in the time on this Earth and knows a thing of two. Just a smile and a hello and a “How are you doing Marvis?”. It would really make an elderly lady feel happy. Anyone who works there, please stop by and tell her that Paul from Detroit (who was riding in a handicapped scooter) will never forget her. And of someone could text me her address to my phone (586-206-7731), I would love to send her a card to show my appreciation! Thank you in advance!”

My husband got the catfish and said it was delicious and the hush puppies were the best he has ever eaten! My son got a full rack of ribs and they fell off the bone! I had the smash burger and it was great, we can’t wait to go back and try the BBQ!”

“We have had take out many times prior tonight and always a delicious meal. Unfortunately tonight was not! My meal was a large beef,noodles and vegetables. The plate was 80% noodles, 10 % beef, which was tasteless and chewy, % 20 vegetables which were tasteless. Will have to rethink ordering again.
Well we ordered again and the meals for both of us were outstanding! I take back what the meal prior to tonight was about. Beef was not chewy, a nice mix mixture of veggies and noodles. You have won me back to your drive for excellent food and service. 👏👏👏”

“We went somewhere else for breakfast this morning and regretted it! If we get breakfast it's almost always either Red Rooster or Waffle House. Never going anywhere else again! The Roo has never disappointed. They're quick, delicious, very fairly priced! The servers are on top of it! I even had a rough morning getting my 4 year old in the door and a server opened her arms and he jumped right in them, giving her a big hug. Totally changed his mood around. We love Red Rooster. 🥰”

“This place was amazing. I walked in off the street and was immediately taken to a table. I ordered my food and it was at my table very very quickly. Cooked completely correctly. The texture was exactly as expected. The atmosphere was inviting and open, plenty of TVs to each the game if that's your thing. Service was awesome. “We always circulate between Cinco, Dos, and Casa. Tonight we decided to try a different place. So we went to Ricardos and upon arriving realized it was now El Mezcal. Still, we figured we'd try it out. Let me say I was pleasantly surprised. Coming from the food industry, I'm a sucker for presentation. The food was arranged with chips placed around the edge of the plate neatly, and topped with little dallops of sour cream. The food was good and the server was very sweet. I think it's my new favorite Mexican restaurant in hendersonville”

I wanted to take a moment to recognize an employee at your Hendersonville store who went above and beyond to help me recently.
One evening earlier last month, I stopped by to pick up a cake for my fiancée as a surprise, we were getting married in just a week, so I was already under a lot of stress. When I came back out to my car, I realized my battery had died. I felt completely stuck and overwhelmed, but one of your employees, a young woman named Kensley (I believe that’s her name,she wore glasses), didn’t hesitate to help.
She went out of her way to help me jump-start my car and was so positive and kind throughout the whole situation. Her calm attitude and genuine kindness turned what could have been a very stressful moment into a reminder that there are truly good people out there.
I just wanted to make sure her effort doesn’t go unnoticed. Employees like her really make a difference and leave a lasting impression on customers. Please extend my sincere thanks and appreciation to her for her compassion and willingness to help.”

Our server, Phoenix, was clearly new and a bit nervous at first, but let me tell you—he absolutely knocked it out of the park. Having owned my own restaurant in the past, I know what makes a great server, and if I could have hired five more of this guy, I would have in a heartbeat. He understood the assignment and executed it flawlessly. His attentiveness, professionalism, and genuine effort to make our dining experience top-notch were beyond impressive. As for the food—Demos’ lived up to its reputation. The menu had a great selection, and everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. “I been looking for some good authentic latin food… gave this spot a try. The pupusas here are fresh and delicious! You can taste the freshness of the ingredients. I will be back for the breakfast plate (eggs not shown but were good) and pupusas. A little language barrier but everything was made as ordered and the take out service was good. VERY reasonable pricing as well. If you’ve never had a pupusa before, come here. Try the cheese and revuelta (pork and cheese)! Yum!”

“Alyssa F. is a wonderful person at Slim Chickens in Hendersonville, TN. I had a problem with the taste of the coleslaw with an order that was picked up. I called about it and she immediately tasted the coleslaw that morning and agreed. She offered a free meal, and made sure that the coleslaw was ok, by letting me taste it when I came to pick up my free order, it was fine, and I didn't have to wait long. She should be either promoted or compensated for being so polite and making me want to go back to Slim Chickens for the delicious tenders and coleslaw. Thank you, Bob Stephens”

It's a beautiful thing building these relationships with the people who faithfully show up to serve with such hearts and care for customers and one another. I can't tell you how many times I smiled in my seat while working or journaling as I would overhear the occasional comment or conversation behind the counter. Fun and good people. I hope you take a moment to start getting to know them too. It can get super busy, loud, and full of people at certain times, but that comes with the territory at Starbucks' and particularly in small locations like this one. I encourage customers to show up without being in a rush and with a heart for people. Even on hard days (which we all have), the most stressed-out employee moment can turn around because of outwardly visible and intentional customer kindness.”

I didn’t tell her my situation before hand, maybe I just looked wiped out. That act of kindness was monumental to me. I told her the server afterwards and how that act of kindness was so meaningful. I’d like to thank the person who hired this server. The server had heart and depth.

The second thing is my mother lives at Clarendale right behind the restaurant. Macalisters is so handy to grab a sandwich and soup here and there. We can always count on it being good.”

“Went to Hendersonville Tn Captain D’s tonight. There were three people working when there should have been four. The girls were very busy. We were eating in. They explained that we might have to wait a little longer since they were understaffed. We said that was fine. They couldn’t have been nicer. Our food came out perfect and was very good. Unfortunately, we only got Tanya and Melissa’s names and not the person who was in the kitchen. They did a great job in spite of being super busy and understaffed. They’re the best.”
