Highly recommend this place! Everything was fantastic and servings were large. Great home cooked food. Owner was very passionate about his food and business. Will definitely come back on our next time through town.

It has been a while since we tried Jake's Place.. I was pleased at the offerings on the menu; fish had hushpuppies with it, slaw available, and of course, french fries were on the menu. I can't remember if there were white beans or not, and I like white beans or baked beans with my fish. The fish was really good with no "muddy" flavor, and the portion was plentiful.
