My family and I enjoyed a great lunch today! The food was delicious and the menu is large with many choices. My husband got the catfish and said it was delicious and the hush puppies were the best he has ever eaten! My son got a full rack of ribs and they fell off the bone! I had the smash burger and it was great, we can’t wait to go back and try the BBQ!
It has been a while since we tried Jake's Place.. I was pleased at the offerings on the menu; fish had hushpuppies with it, slaw available, and of course, french fries were on the menu. I can't remember if there were white beans or not, and I like white beans or baked beans with my fish. The fish was really good with no "muddy" flavor, and the portion was plentiful. Their burger was good. It did seem a little higher priced than other similar food options.

Outstanding place! Fantastic food, generous portions, great pricing, top of the line service - a genuine pleasure to eat there. Would, and will, recommend it to every one I meet. I will be a frequent regular.
