“This was a random stop upon a recommendation from another bartender across town. My wife and I truly enjoyed playing video games and having a couple beers to kind of ease into our getaway weekend. They have games for every thing you could like.

They provide an amazing product and space and embrace the community in a lot of amazing ways. If you fancy a taste of what the Norse know to be amazing already come get some mead (honey wine) and go a viking. They rotate products with the seasons and if you are lucky enough to be here when they have entertainment outside it's amazing, trivia, firedancing, burlesque, and other neighborhood events are always done well here.“

“This place is amazing! There’s nothing better than mixing a dive bar with old-school arcade games. I’m not great at pinball however it’s still one of my favorite things to play. They have amazing beers on tap. All the bartenders were fantastic and the atmosphere was super cool.“

“We really loved Southern Grist when we first found it. Great craft beers and a great food menu, but as of late, the food menu disappoints. Anyone can do burgers and beers. Bring back the chicken sandwich, bao buns and vinegar potatoes. Your menu made you unique now you’re just like everyone else.“

“How an old dude and I've lived in Nashville all my life. Find pass this bar countless times and told myself I should stop in there sometime soon.
It's one of those Nashville places you know that when you walk in it'll feel like home...
And that's because it is in a very real way. I don't know why I never went in for so many years, but I'm glad I finally got around to stopping in.“

“Love this place! Super chill vibes. They do have the volume way lower for openers but for headliners, the sound is a lot better. They have a water station, but you have to ask the bar for a cup unless you bring your own. The lights are kinda bright and hot you right in the face sometimes, so I have to bring sunglasses. But the place is super fun!“

“The bar was really busy and there were only two bartenders working. One tall guy I think his name was Sandi really impressed me. He was super professional he kept everything organized, took orders quickly, made drinks perfectly, and didn’t forget any garnishes. Great service.“
