“We really loved Southern Grist when we first found it. Great craft beers and a great food menu, but as of late, the food menu disappoints. Anyone can do burgers and beers. Bring back the chicken sandwich, bao buns and vinegar potatoes. Your menu made you unique now you’re just like everyone else.“

The only thing I’d love to see improve is the music. As someone who frequents the bar pretty often, I’ve noticed the playlist has gotten a little repetitive, with a lot of the same songs coming back around. I’d love to hear a little more variety—different genres, throwback nights, etc.

“The arcade games were super fun. We spent over 2 hours here. These are older arcade games; not the new games. We did not eat and we did not have any drinks. We only played arcade games and had a great time. Majority of the games were 25 cents per play.“

“What a beautiful hidden gem! My husband and I have been here a couple of times and our last time we went was so wonderful. It’s a relaxed vibe that is also very well put together so you can come dressed up or in relaxed clothing and you’ll fit right in either way. We both got sake flights and oh my goodness- each flavor was phenomenal! My favorites were the Cloud Palace and the Gunma(I apologize if I spelled that wrong). Not only were the drinks delicious, the service was top notch- Noah was very knowledgeable and friendly to chat with! “No Quarter is my new favorite bar in East Nash! Great selection of Pinball machines, cold beer, and friendly service (Gwen was great). What more could you ask for? (The stage area in back could be fun for live music…just a thought). Favorite machine: Pulp Fiction. Will I come back? 💯 yes!“

“What a gem in East Nashville. Brooklyn famous pizza mixed with great cocktail inventions. The bread and burrata were fantastic as well. The Milk Punch was pre batched and delicious.

The main hotel bar is cozy with great decorating for each room. Outside there’s a large patio as well as an indoor back area as well.

Outside- You order at the booth or at the bar and take your buzzer with for food and go back to pick it up. Finding a table to sit can be a challenge.“
