“I absolutely adore Ami and her crew here. The food is always fresh, hot, and delicious! Occasionally something in the order may be wrong, but they are quick to offer a solution and fix it for you. I cannot recommend this place enough. I no longer live in the area, but when I want Chinese food, I drive over here to get it.“

“Food was amazing and the woman at the register was so sweet!! She said my soup was really hot and took off the lid for me! Everything was hot and fresh and as she said: “yummy yummy”! Definitely coming back!! Well worth a 20 minute drive!!!“

I have been eating at this restaurant for over seven years now and it is by far my most favorite Asian cuisine. Not only is the food exceptional, the service too is SUPERB!!! The last time I was there Gilda (aka Gina) was my waitress. She is extremely customer oriented, friendly, professional and always works to get your food out to you in a timely manner. If an error is made in the placement of your order she will do all within her power to correct it and make it right for the customer. Another waitress to ask for when you arrive is Julia. If you are visiting or just passing through Nashville I highly recommend China Cottage. Out of 5 Stars on the scale of 1 - 5 I give them a. “5”. ???“

I liked the sesame chicken but I like most sesame chicken, not all of them though. I would definitely eat again and try more foods. The rice was not stale or dry. Was good.“

“I'm a regular , about once every 2 weeks for the lunch buffet. My only request is to diversify the menu a little. Bigger selection for sushi, and add mongolian beef or pork and coconut shrimp to the buffet. Just needs some new selections. Thank you.“

I place a call to Rice box they said my food was already done it wasn't but a few minutes after I placed order.. when the order got picked up they said that it was cooked extra spicy and extra crispy. pitched the food will not be back.“

It is a small place, and lunch was very busy but we found a place to sit. I had lo mein, the walnut shrimp, and beef and broccoli. It was amazing. The lo mein: delicious. We were super skeptical about this place when we pulled up, but oh boy where we wrong! It was definitely a takeout Chinese food place, and had all of the old food pictures on the wall, and the exact menu as any other cheap Chinese food place. The mixed reviews had me worried they were going to be garbage but folks, I could not be more wrong!
The food was absolutely delicious! I got sesame chicken combination and my partner got Orange chicken combination, which both came with fried rice and egg rolls. We got drinks added on and the bill was under 30$! I *wish* i had gotten an order of crab rangoon because I just know that would have been put of this world. Everything was super hot and fresh out of the kitchen, with thick flavorful sauces! Everyone said the rice was old in other reviews but my rice was absolutely perfect 👌 The egg rolls were crisp and left us wishing we had more!
Forgive the pictures because we did eat it in the car at 9 pm, but you could easily take it home or to a park to eat. But be warned! Our portions were absolutely huge and we had to bring the rest home!“
