“Definitely the BEST mexican Restaurant we have been atleast 6 times since they have opened up. Not only does the food hit the spot but the cheap margaritas they have are absolutely perfect! The place is such a vibe cheap,good food ,good people and clean!!“

“Skip if you are vegetarian. Few options beyond hummus, pita and the whipped feta. The falafel were the tiniest I have ever seen and only 3 were served. So small all there was to eat was the deep fried crust, no soft steaming yummy green inside to taste. I have never had falafel like that. Hard and crunchy. We left hungry and wishing we had gone somewhere else. Service was very good but for the prices, one would expect that. Just an OK experience.“

“Lunch on a BUSY Friday. We’d been reluctant to return after 2 disappointing trips to Malones. We had a great meal this time. Juicy Lucy’s for him and Salmon for me. Both dishes were cooked exactly as we’d requested. The staff was slammed, but everyone was pleasant. We had a beer and two glasses of wine. $100 for lunch, but it was a special occasion for us and we very much enjoyed ourselves. Thank you for the hospitality! Boiled peanuts were worthy of the sketchiest gas station that has the highest yelp reviews in the state (if you don’t know, that’s the highest praise). The owner took care of me, she’s a queen. I most of all suggest the batched white tea shots. They come in cute little airplane bottles (green tea shots are also available). You won’t regret a single thing you have here, but the best part was the vibe. 12/10 stars. Do recommend.“

We ate at OBC in Nashville their sister restaurant and suggested Malones and gave us a $25 off card. Could only eat half the salad and bread but they made a new one of each to take home. “We stopped for martinis on a hot Saturday, loved the atmosphere and the music. I ordered “their take” on a dirty martini and was disappointed. Friends ordered an espresso martini, and loved it enough to order two more. Lesson learned: when a bar offers “their take” on a drink it probably means they ran out and are substituting another. “We stayed at the hotel (Hotel Bo) they’re connected to.
Fantastic little spot. The staff are fun and enjoy chatting as much as we do. The people coming and going were all smiles and talkative too. Everyone’s so friendly and supportive. We see a child running down the stairs as a grandmother was attempting to chase her. Another mom leaped up out of no where to catch the kid, her and the grandmother laughed and chatted for a bit. Then parted ways. There’s no scenario at The Downtowner that won’t make a Frein’s here.

The food is worth it, the drinks are pricey but great (per the norm, haha). Our last night there was $62. That was two Private Barrel Makers Mark and cokes, and two strawberry daiquiris.“

“We’ve eaten at Drakes, Chattanooga, since it’s opening and never been disappointed until today when a customer brought a dog inside to the inside “patio” seated at the table next to us. The dog was hyper and the man kept scratching it. Next a female joined him and began scratching the dog. The waiter reached down and also scratched the dog. Next time the waiter came by, the dog jumped up on her and again she scratched the dog. We asked to move inside to an empty booth. After we moved the man brought in another dog. Why were dogs allowed in the restaurant? They were NOT service dogs.“

“Had their large pizza. Pizza has great dough. Crunchy medium thin outside. Sauce on pizza was good, nothing too special.l just good. Pizza is huge! I love that you just order and sit where you want and get your own refills. No being waited on yet feels like a restaurant where you would have a waiter.
Do not leave without getting their cheesecake. Shockingly the best I've had.
Took 30 mins to get one large pizza and the parking is paid parking so I took some points away for that.“

“423 Taco is one of the best Mexican restaurants in town in my opinion. The food is very good, has great flavor, the atmosphere is authentic, and service is prompt and consistent. It's also very reasonably priced. Plenty of seating.

So many other Mexican restaurants in the city with food that has none to very little flavor.

Parking can be the only issue but that is downtown in general - not anything to do with the restaurant which is why I took no stars off.“

“Pretty good. Not overly crowded, but there was only one waitress. She was good but a bit overworked so difficult to get things just right or timely. The dressing for the Caesar salad is very anchovy heavy. My husband liked it, but I could not eat it. The crabcakes were delicious. We ordered a side, but it never came. We had a lemon coconut dessert and it was flavorless; neither one of us ate it after the first bite. I guess the crabcakes saved our whole experience because they were quite good.“
