“We had a great experience. We do not have a Dairy Queen near us, so this was my kid's first opportunity to ever have a Blizzard. He loved it. We also shared the chicken and onion rings box. The food is mostly fried and rather basic. Simple. But the Blizzards are something special. We will probably grab another one while we are in town. Service was fine. Staff were friendly and we got or order quickly. It is connected to a gas station rather than a stand alone building, but it has its own entrance and parking, so that was not an issue.“
“Had our first dine in experience at Big Al’s today. The food was delicious with generous portions and very well seasoned. Seating is limited so either plan to go in earlier or be patient. AJ was super knowledgeable of the menu and Chef D was very friendly. Al himself came by the table before we left. We tried the fried chicken sandwich, fried catfish, turnip greens and skillet beans.“
“I was tempted to try an alternative to my favorite burger in Nashville and I’m glad I stopped in for dinner.I like the pharmacy better because it’s a much nicer atmosphere and the food was equally as good.The phosphates and ice cream drinks gives this restaurant a unique angle that works really well.The phosphates can be had by themselves or with ice cream or alcohol and the one I tried was delicious.Mine was an orange creamsicle and the taste was spot on.The burger was big and flavorful and the fries were some of the best I’ve had and reminded me of five guys style fries.It was pretty much the perfect quick and casual meal at prices close enough to fast food that the price is very negligible. My burger was around $14 and had plenty of premium toppings.“
“I think I have ate at Jack Brown's more than anywhere else in Nashville. It is hands down my favorite late night go to & just a great spot to take friends & family when they're in town! I always order the Cobra Kai (add bacon) & fries. They have a great beer menu as well. I'm usually too full to order Oreos, but if I do I never regret it. When I'm feeling adventurous I get an Elvis & add Jalapeño Jelly. Service is quick, I never really have a long wait unless I'm visiting during peak dinner hours in the summer. Parking lot is not the best so be warned! There is plenty of street parking around the area so that might be your best bet. Its a nonchalant, easy going dive bar covered in stickers and random decor. Highly recommend checking it out if you're looking for an easy going meal & great burgers.“
“This was a great experience. The service was exceptional as well as the food. We had the Cesar salad and found it to be one of the best versions that I’ve been served. I recommend the MVP/VIP pizza. The sesame seed crust and red sauce far exceed my expectations. My only regret is that I cannot eat here on a regular basis as I live out of town. When I come to Nashville this is a must do experience.“
“We stopped here randomly, we were waiting for our haircut appointment next door; and boy were we blown away! It’s a tiny “hole in the wall”, but the flavor and service were phenomenal. Nothing fancy, just your simple American style greasy burger and fries. Simple done SO right! Prices were fair too. Icing on the cake is that they source their meat from a local farm, better yet it’s grass fed!You order outside through a window, and there’s a few seats to eat outside, and a few booths inside. “Somebody Feed Phil made me want to try this place. I've been a handful of times. The food is good, but it's nothing life changing, and for what it is, it's overpriced. The atmosphere is... sparse? bland? Whatever it is it doesn't inspire "JOY". But it's also not terrible. Here's the elephant in the room: how do you have a restaurant in TN and *not* have fresh brewed tea available. They only offer soda fountain drinks. “We got there within 40 minutes of closing (not busy thank goodness for us). We were served quickly. We had the Detroit pizza and it was fabulous. Food was great and the service was fabulous. We are only here for two days, otherwise I would definitely go again.“
“Whenever there's a line.. I will walk up To the order window and your order is expedited versus sitting in your car waiting until you reach the drive up window. If the line isn't open calling in helps too. Food and toppings are always fresh and love the seasoned fries. My burger go to fix never a failure!! Customer service is always pleasant.“
“Wife and I were on a road trip vacation and wanted to try some authentic local breakfast food. We saw some pretty good reviews for Big Al's so we decided to stop by. It doesn't look like much on the outside and is very small on the inside (only room for about 20 patrons) but what it lacks in beauty and size, it makes up in delicious food! I had the biscuit sandwich with egg, cheese, sausage and bacon along with hash fries. The wife had French toast with bacon and a biscuit. Fantastic!!! Biscuits are light and fluffy. You have to go if you're in the area. Biggest drawback is that you may have to wait, but it will be worth it!!!“

“There's only enough seating for about 8-10 people, and it doesn't look like it's even open from the outside, but don't let that deter you. The food is amazing!!! But the star of the show is their hotdogs at only $2 each! At that price I can by em’ by the bag! “Just had traditional Cajun wings. They were perfect for a dry rub. I think people don't understand that if it's crunchy on the outside that is not dry. Being they promote their Gyros and such, I was hesitant to go with a cheeseburger. I was surprised when I got my order. Burger was a good size with all the fixings, tasted good.
