“Monthly trip to Nashville. We typically have breakfast at the Broken Yolk. This time we decided to try Sun Diner. This will be our new breakfast diner! The atmosphere is very "Nashville" with songs playing by Cash, Elvis, etc. Service is VERY good. Lily was our server and she never stopped moving. This is a busy place, I don't know if there is a wait time. We did not have to wait . The menu is great, large food portions or smaller sides if you need less. We really enjoyed this! Thank you“

“Really good burger, and cool food!I got a phosphate soda for the first time and I loved it! Highly recommend. Also got the barbecue burger and while it was a tad dry, it was very tasty and generously sized. I also got a side of the yogurt ranch and it was delicious with my tater tots. I love the vibe here and the food is solid.The reason i’m giving this place 4 stars instead of 5 is because the service was really lacking. We came on a sunday evening and while there were a few tables around the restaurant, i wouldn’t say it was “busy” at all. We waited about 10 minutes for our server to come get our drinks, and then I watched my phosphate soda sit at the bar and get flat for another few minutes before she brought it over. My friend’s order came messed up, and we couldn’t tell anyone until our waitress finally came back halfway into me being done with my food. Just wish the service was better here, but I’ll probably be back eventually.“

“I think I have ate at Jack Brown's more than anywhere else in Nashville. It is hands down my favorite late night go to & just a great spot to take friends & family when they're in town! I always order the Cobra Kai (add bacon) & fries. They have a great beer menu as well. I'm usually too full to order Oreos, but if I do I never regret it. When I'm feeling adventurous I get an Elvis & add Jalapeño Jelly. Service is quick, I never really have a long wait unless I'm visiting during peak dinner hours in the summer. Parking lot is not the best so be warned! There is plenty of street parking around the area so that might be your best bet. Its a nonchalant, easy going dive bar covered in stickers and random decor. Highly recommend checking it out if you're looking for an easy going meal & great burgers.“

“Came in on a Thursday evening, around 7pm. The place was complete empty so I wasn’t even sure if it was open. Thank goodness I came in! I ordered a cheeseburger (like a double patty smash burger) as is with a side of the sweet potato fries……..and let me tell you!!! By far one of the best burgers I’ve ever had in my life! The bun was so soft but held the burger together until the very last bite. I read about the fries before ordering them, everyone who said they were delicious was not exaggerating. Just moved into the neighborhood and so happy to find a locally owned spot that offered such delicious quality food.Just a side note, the place does get really busy. “Friday night after a few drinks late night at some local bars and not wanting to drive far from our hotel, we ordered from here and LOVEDDDD it. Pizza was hot, fresh ingredients & we ate every single slice. To top it off they graciously added a 2 liter of sprite to our order that we didn't even order & let us use their restroom. That following Sat we decided to try something different on the menu & we still were more than happy. The small calzone was HUGE and full of ingredients but not too much. The cheesesteak hoagie was a great portion too. 4 people ate just those 2 things and we all we FULL! And again we were offered a free soda. “Great low key burger joint in the gulch with a bunch of great beers on tap. I recommend popping over during a nice day to sit on the patio. Dog friendly and always offer a water bowl and treat. “We spent a really nice end of Saturday at this bar where the atmosphere was excellent and just what I was looking for when coming to Nashville.Beer on the roof top for sunset and a few more inside with the fantastic country orchestra which played, for almost 4 hours non-stop, country songs to which all the Americans present in large numbers sang the lyrics . A few more line dances.At 10 p.m., the bar transformed into a dance floor with a DJ who attracted a crowd lining up to get in that we noticed on our way out.“

I could’ve used a bit more seasoning on the fries. Service was wonderful and the lady who took my order was very polite. The restaurant and parking lot are clean and well lit. I think the pricing needs a bit of tweaking. The burger alone is $9.69, and to add fries and a drink raised the price to about $17. I would be more comfortable paying $14-$15 for the meal. “The Nashville Palace was one of my favorite places that I visited when I took a road trip down to Nashville. I got lunch there, and while eating they had an amazing country duo that was playing up on the stage the entire time I was there. Best part about it was the concert was completely free! “Met up with some friends for dinner and enjoyed the meal I had here. I got the ANM.L.-Style burger which was the signature burger for the restaurant. It was essential a double cheeseburger and it was good. It came with waffle fries, which is a rarity to find at placea and also got a local hard cider to drink. Overall, the experience was good and the environment had a good vibe to it. The service could’ve been a smidge better in terms of a checking in when it was time to order as well as the close out checks, but what can you do.“

“On the food it looked good. Hamburger looked like the fave with fresh locale bread and cut fries. The beer was as fantastic. I had the Black Beauty X 2. Unique dark beard with a sweet bite. The bluff over looking the Cumberland was nice. Plenty of chairs and tables. Families were picnicking and at least 12 had their dogs. It was trivia night and and about 40 folks were playing. Funny thing is as a kid I use to hunt back in that area. I wish I had visited earlier in time.“

Establishment, whether it's South Nashville, downtown Nashville, North Nashville, or West nashville. I have been everywhere over the years the past sixteen years that i've been down South and I can tell you after spending thousands of dollars and many restaurants. This is one of the best burgers in Tennessee! The onion rings appear to be fresh and taste fresh and crunchy that you can't wait to have more! The presentation is always neat packaged amazing and looking juicy! They have a Coca-Cola freestyle machine with my favorite red cream soda. They generally open around 11 AM. I recommend getting a number 1 Burger fi cheeseburger which comes with 2 patties. You can add an extra Patty for just a few dollars more. The sauce they use is really great everything Cooked fresh in front of you. It doesn't take long and it's worth it. This Burger is much better than most. Sit down restaurants downtown Nashville.“
