“First: I’m extremely picky about my lattes. I am sensitive to overcooked (burnt taste) beans and undercooked (sour taste) beans. I have gone here repeatedly for iced lattes and they have always provided the perfect texture and balance. They are by far (and I don’t say this lightly) providing the BEST espresso in Nashville. Second: What truly makes this cafe great is that it’s the only cafe in town that makes you feel like you’re wanted. All of these cafes built in the last 20 years are hard, cold and sterile. If you’re younger than 40, you probably don’t even remember that cafes used to be warm, social, inviting and a home for many people. New cafes are so uninviting and I feel it’s done on purpose to get you to leave so more customers come in. But the Daily Grind? It’s homey, has couches, the walls are filled with all sorts of crafty love and plants and there’s a poster on the front that lets you know this is a SAFE space for all. It’s reminiscent of the old days when you had warm social spaces where you could spend hours every day with friends playing games, drawing, talking and no one glued to their phones. I hope this cafe gets to expand and provide even more of this nostalgic homey feel and bring that needed community experience back to Nashville. Third: GREAT food and customer service on top of all of the above“
“This is a spot you want to keep going back to. Very aesthetic, clean, and a super friendly staff. I’ve always gotten cold brew here, so I’m eager to go back and get a hot coffee.
There’s a Photo Booth! Clothing and cute retail items! Space to sit and work upstairs, too.
I just love it when you can walk into an establishment and feel like they’re happy you came.
The only bummer is the last time my mom and I stopped in on a Tuesday morning (around 9:30) and they had no food ?
So if you’re looking for a bite to eat, might want to call ahead first.“

“I had the pleasure of ordering from here through Postmates. I had the ham and cheese croissant and the Santa coffee (peppermint mocha) with almond milk. the croissant was buttery, flaky and delicious! the coffee was delicious and very even flavored. will definitely be going to see them in person and ordering again!“

“The inside of the coffee shop is great. Full of plants and nice people. Good food. Well crafted drinks.
A bit overpriced due to add ons: adding honey and almond milk to my 12oz matcha adds $3?! It would at least be less aggregious if I could get a 16oz drink there. A 12oz drink and a burrito always seems to end up being $27.
You can't really eat or drink inside. So if you eat at the establishment, you're now getting a Gallatin Pike and Trinity intersection experience. Regular near miss crashes. Heavy horn use. It's honestly more serene to eat in your car. You'd never even think to bring a laptop there and get some work done.
They would do well to add either bamboo planters, or at least a fence/shrubbery. Then additional shade would also be beneficial. Along with monthly powerwashing.“

“Got their bagel egg and cheese, subbed micro greens and croissant ($6) and oh wow- delicious!! Also had matcha latte with oat milk and drank it all up in record time. The cafe is impeccably designed with wonderful vibes. I hope they do amazing because they're such a treat. Prices aren't too bad either!
Only thing is maybe avoid the vegan banana bread munchies, it was dry and stale - $6“

“Best overall coffee experience in Nashville! Imagine a coffee shop where the espresso is excellent every time, the shop is spotless, and the baristas are approachable and take the time to get to know who you are.
The whole staff is incredibly friendly and ensures that every visit is excellent.
The manager is also amazing! She isn’t afraid to get her hands dirty and help her staff. If I had a restaurant or coffee shop i would did my best to hire her and her team to run my business!“

“We were visiting from WV over the weekend. We were in Nashville to see the Kill Tony show. When googling for coffee this place immediately caught my attention. I WISH I had a coffee shop like this where I live. I would never leave. Everyone seemed to know everyone that was local and they were so friendly with one another. My boyfriend got “The Eileen” and fell in love with cayenne in it! We would have NEVER thought to do that. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ would come back to Nashville just for this place“

“This is my favorite coffee shop in Nashville. All their pastries are SO INSANELY good. I made my mom bring me their cream cheese sugar cookie after I gave birth lol. It’s a small shop so sometimes it may be a little backed up but nothing crazy? If I ever move out of east Nashville this is the spot I’ll miss the most!“

“Such a cute little spot! Crema was one of our top two coffee spots while visiting for the week (we tried like 10 local spots!). The coffee was great — and I’m PICKY when it comes to coffee. Super flavorful, wonderful ratios in the lattes, we would definitely come again!“

“LATTE w/ Oat milk was fabulous.
Kinda bummed that the person at the register did not ask or tell me that The Chosen One comes with sourdough unless otherwise request something else. Expectations would have been a bagel. Everyone did/didn’t do their part 🥺“

-The craft beer is smooth and delicious
If you're wanting to chill and relax in East Nashville, considered Living Waters Brewing.“

“So I tried three different times to come here since the Google times are different than what’s posted on the building. It was still worth the three different trips out here! I have been riding motorcycles since I was little, and I am part of a vintage motorcycle club, so it was really amazing to see two of my passions, motorcycles and coffee, come together into one place! Every time I made it out here the coffee and the Matcha was excellent“

“First time at this Barista Parlor Location. I really love the openness of the space. A lot of room to sit down and work. That being said, the music was so loud and intense (personal opinion). I probably would have been more inclined to stay longer if they were not blasting punk rock.“

“So glad I stopped by while driving the back roads. Places like this are such a treat to stumble upon. Both women working there were really helpful and super attractive. Made a perfect matcha latte. Please support local coffee shops like this over big box coffee.“
