Inskip Grill at Fountain City is a local treasure with a relaxed, diner-style atmosphere. Fun games and decor make the whole family happy. All menu items are named after areas of greater Knoxville. Menu options include the award winning burger, the lettuce wrap Inskip with sweet potato fries, the Mechanicville option, the Farragut burger, the McGhee Tyson burger, the Philly style sandwich, chicken strips, onion rings, nuggets, wings, and the impossible burger. The Farragut burger was huge and amazing with fresh and succulent mushrooms. The McGhee Tyson was also huge and very good. The fries were great, especially when dipped in ranch. The ice cream for dessert has many delicious options. However, some reviews noted the burgers can be plain with no season or flavor, and the fries were soggy with no crisp. The fried green tomatoes were $10 for about 5 slices of a small tomato with little flavor, served with a pimento cheese that did not match well, and arrived after the entree. Service is top notch, with an awesome waitress making the experience exceptional. Parking is ample.
