“One of my favorite restaurants. The Greek salad, saganaki, roasted chicken, and lobster pasta are incredible. Deserts are a must have. The atmosphere and service is fantastic. It can be hard to book a table, but it's first come, first serve at the bar. Prices are reasonable and match the quality of service, food, and atmosphere.“

“Jig and Reel is a Knoxville staple. I’ve been coming here since college. The whiskey menu is extensive so if that’s your thing, this is the place. The food is shockingly good. I have always loved their fish and chips - super crispy, great fries, and homemade tartar sauce. My husband loves their scotch egg. We reserved their side room for an event recently and were so impressed. There was no fee for renting as we had about 30 people there that would be eating and ordering drinks. We were able to decorate the room to our liking (but of course took everything down afterwards). We ordered a charcuterie board and it was absolutely beautiful and delicious. Our server (can’t remember his name but he kinda looks like the DJ ‘Eliminate’) was fantastic. He was fast with orders, very observant of the room, and offered help wherever we needed. I was also happy to see that we were still treated well with it being a queer event - there was no hostility. We’ll happily have more events in the future here.“

“I host events at HiWire and Leslie and her crew have always been so accommodating from day one. They are such a delight to work with. I love the space and how flexible they are with working with any event hosted there. It is extremely dog and family friendly. They always have a great selection of drinks for any pallette. the rooftop is a great spot on good weather days. Definitely recommend checking it out.“

“Was driving through Knoxville...looking at google maps and seeing what food options were available for a quick bite. I'm so glad I scrolled just a little east and read about The Burgers. OMG ..for nearly the same price as a fast food burger combo meal I had one of the best burgers ever. Friendly staff...awesome onion rings. Also, they proudly have a wall of food inspection reports where they have scored 100% over and over and over. Highly recommend!!“

“Chivo Taqueria is exactly what an urban tacqueria should be: tasty food, quaffable beer, attentive service. We ducked in early afternoon on a Friday for late lunch. Chivo Taqueria did not disappoint. Delicious, cold beer all around (Goat N' Hoes . . . how can you NOT order it?) and we were quickly served our appetizer of chips and guac (Chips not to be missed--never had chips before that really didn't need salsa, queso, or guac, but these didn't. However, our fresh guac did enhance them.) We ordered a variety of their tacos (Limp Briskit, Codfather, Clusterduck) as well as the deliciously seasoned Ground Beef Burrito, accompanied by sides of street corn, black beans, and rice. All were tasty and worth ordering again, but the Limp Briskit taco and black beans were standouts. We enjoyed people watching as well as the floor-to-ceiling bar. This place is a gem.“

We're always on the lookout for great spots to eat, and this place did not disappoint. While there was a bit of a wait from ordering to getting our food, we weren’t in a rush—and it was absolutely worth it. My wife did also make the comment that she read that everything here was cooked fresh from ordering. Our server was friendly, attentive, and gave us fantastic recommendations after asking a few thoughtful questions. We ended up loving everything we ordered. As we were eating, we overheard another customer commenting on how good the food was and how busy it had been earlier—it was around 2-3 p.m., so we figured the staff was catching their breath after the lunch rush. We’ll be back in town next week, and we’re definitely coming back here! I signed the check and left it at the table, as we had to hit the road back to Ooltewah and didn’t get the chance to properly thank our server. She was excellent, and we truly appreciated her service. We hope to see her again when we're back next week.“

“Delivery is usually rocking, but not today. I’ll usually give a little slack when the order’s not right but I think you would want to know how your food is being represented. I ordered my favorite, the Farmhouse Hash. Maybe I’m being picky but I’m only comparing it to the same meals I’ve had before, which were excellent. First, either Avocado’s have shrunk to the size of a Kumquat or the cook could care less about what this meal would taste like. I got 4 pieces of avocado about an inch big. And they still had the peel on them. Second, I ordered Sour Dough as opposed to wheat because of nutrition guidelines I have to keep. I got wheat anyway, which was very tempting. My eggs were fried, not basted. I got cheddar cheese instead of goat cheese. We also received smucker’s packets instead of the home made jam, that we expected. So it just boils down to the quality for the price. I basically paid $30 for my meal. I don’t mind paying restaurant prices but I also expect better than fast-food. One more thing I would like your business to think about. I am a disabled, immune-compromised customer. I order delivery more than the average customer for health reasons. I don’t appreciate the lack of consideration from your kitchen staff. Just because I’m not there to ask the server to correct my order, does not mean it’s ok to slack off on your duties. It more than likely was oversight but still, I felt you needed to know what was going on. I do hesitate now, to order from First Watch. I’m just not sure I’ll get what I expect.“

“We're visiting Knoxville and were looking for a nice Italian meal. This place didn't disappoint. We were greeted by friendly staff and got a few suggestions. We started with cheesy bread, perfection! The dough was good with a nice chewiness, lots of cheese and garlic. I had a ham calozone and it was cooked perfectly, that great dough, real ricotta cheese and seasoning, a nice robust marina on the side. My husband had the tortellini with meat sauce and garlic bread. The pasta was the perfect. We both had the recommended tiramasu, this is the star of the show. I have never tasted such wonderful food. We each had a fountain drink and all together was only $50. Service was phenomenal. I'm sad to go home because I know I have nothing close to the quality of this place. Absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. We'll be heading there again tomorrow for lunch so we can have it one more time before leaving Knoxville.“

Everything was great, but my 2 favorites were the chicken portion and the cabbage portion. My husband’s was the beef and the lentil. We found it interesting that we both ate until we were full, but neither of us felt bad.

“Our family had the pleasure of dining at the Gatlinburg, TN location. We have a non-verbal, special needs son who uses a wheelchair. They made us feel welcomed by seating us at a perfect table that was accessible and yet out of the way to accommodate his wheelchair. Thank you to the seating hostess for accommodating us! 💜 Then we had a wonderful server by the name of Mark! He provided excellent service, made sure that our son felt welcomed, and made sure our son had a wonderful meal that he enjoyed very much! We explained our son's dietary restrictions and Mark did a excellent job at making recommendations for our son's meal. The excitement our son had from his first bite of the Neva's Potatoes was priceless! His face lit up with excitement, scooched his wheelchair closer, and leaned in closer over the potatoes. lol Kinda wished we had gotten extra potatoes for him to have again later. He was just as excited while eating his leftovers too! Thank you to our server Mark and Chesapeake's for the wonderful meal and accomodating our family. We highly recommend this restaurant! 🥰“
