“Subway makes sandwiches of which I have been eating in different cities and states for the last 40 years. Some of their stores do a better job than others based on staffing levels and the employees. This one has good employees and the times I've been there good staffing levels. Personally, I like their old menu. Their new menu not so much. They cut down on bread choices over the years as well, but I am sure that was based on business analytics. This store seems to do more drive-through than walk-in business as well. It is currently my family's goto place for Subway.“

I'm still convinced this is the place to get a sandwich. Just finished a Club on a Sub...it was perfect with the Firehouse Sauce.

“The employees are always polite and the food area appears very clean. I would have given them a 5 star review, however the first 'half' scoop of tuna was included and then she asked if I'd like another scoop for 50 cents extra. Perhaps give an adequate, full scoop the first time.“

“This is the best McAlisters in Knoxville and the district as the staff is really helpful and friendly particularly the managers. I would recommend to others to come here and have their variety of delis and even try catering for your events.“

Apparently another coworker called in sick, but not sure why a manager or someone else didn’t come in to help him out. Jordan is handling the large crowd very professionally and really should be paid much more since he is handling all online orders, making sandwiches/salads and running the register!Subway is definitely getting their monies worth with Jordan as he is an exceptional worker… hoping he gets a raise very soon! “On August 6, 2026 I placed an order for delivery through the subway app a little after 2pm. They kept changing the delivery time and when I tried calling the store no one would answer. I reached out to another Subway up the road and they gave me their managers phone number and apologized for the inconvenience. I spoke to Nikki and explained to her my situation and the delivery driver showed up while I was on the phone with her. He apologized for the delay and being caught in traffic and I explained to him I had tried calling the store before he got there. He said the employee there was playing on her phone when he arrived. My order was $17.98. after he left I went to go eat and found that the foitling was not toasted as I requested, there was a small hole in the chip bag and the chips were stale, my cookie was hard as a rock. I called Nikki back and told her my dilemma because I don't have a vehicle which is why I paid for delivery. She said she would reach out to the manager of the Westgate subway and have them cancel our the order and that the funds would go back onto my gift card. On Saturday I tried calling the store several times and couldn't get an answer so I had to get a ride to go directly to the store. When I went in the employee was sitting at a table playing on her cell phone. She was very rude and said she wasn't about to give me her managers number but she called and talked to someone and said that they were handling it. I asked for corporate office phone number and she said she didn't know it. She also said that the phone is left in the office and that the office door stays locked. Here it is 8 days later and the refund still has not went back on to my gift card and no one will answer when I call the store and no one I talk to seems to know the phone number for corporate office. And they have my phone number from where I ordered through the app and no one has tried calling me back or anything. So essentially I paid $17.98 for a meal that was poor quality and not fixed the way I had ordered it and they decided rather than refund my gift card like they should that they would just keep that money. I feel that they think they can get by with it because I don't have a vehicle and that I will just go away over time. It is wrong for them to take advantage of people and when you mess up their orders not to refund the entire amount just because they used a giftcard. If I had used PayPal or any other debit card I could dispute the charge and the bank would credit it back. If I could give less than 1 star I would“

“Your manager at this store is the reason why you don't get a lot of business!

I come here to eat almost every day and get a veggie delight. Most of the time, I have great customer service experience, today however, I met the manager. Who apparently wants to limit the amount of vegetables that can be put on the sandwich. I like a lot of onions, and she wanted to only give me like 4 or five pieces for a footlong. I asked for more, and she informed me that she couldn't give me much more. I didn't ask for the whole onion, just a little extra past what should be on a footlong anyway.“

“Fast. Friendly. And best of all it's at the front of the Walmart so you don't have to actually go into the mess of Walmart shoppers. You can slip in and out fairly quickly. The only downside is that you still have to deal with Walmart parking. But I just park way far away and walk. Because I'm a normal human being and 25 extra steps isn't going to ruin my day. It might even prevent me from having to use one of those annoying scooters in the future.“

“I visited this location for lunch today and the most amazing pay it forward happened to me a guy was sitting in the lobby working on his computer and I don't know if he was the owner or the Manager of the store but he absolutely made my day after my sandwich was made and I was about to pay for it he got up and paid for my foot long combo meal without any hesitation I thanked him for his kindness and generosity this has never happened to me and I wanted to share this with everyone who reads reviews. “Last time hadI been to this location was a couple of years ago and Amazingly glad I went back The girl that made my sandwich was very knowledgeable of how to fix one I normally have a tuna with provolone toasted No big deal Right well a person with a little Sense should know that hot tuna it's not very agreeing she toasted the bread and provolone and then added the tuna and veggies like a Pro“
