“Stopped in to check out the large whiskey selection and grab some lunch. Hunter is super friendly and gave us some great recommendations. I got one of the cocktails on special for baseball games and it was so good I got a second. I had the Caesar wrap and my husband had the chopped cheese sandwich which were both excellent. Definitely a spot worth checking out!“

“This is our absolute favorite place to visit when in Nashville. Our server, Destiny, is the best! Being from Eastern Europe, it just adds to the ambience of the experience. As soon as you walk into the door you are transported to Europe. The smells engulf you, as you walk by the most amazing dessert display. Do NOT pass up dessert! They have the most extensive coffee menu I have ever seen. If you’re looking for hair of the dog, you can add alcohol! We have never had anything bad here, every bite is divine! I highly recommend the Mexican hot chocolate, the avocado toast, and the rosemary potatoes (we dream of these).“

“The Honky Tonk Hideaway Elf/xmas pop up bar in Nashville is a full-force holiday experience! The Xmas spirit is floor to ceiling, wall to wall! Great cocktails and reasonable prices. Fast service. The energy stays high from the moment you walk in. Tvs hitting all the major games.
The extras set it apart. A mechanical bull. A hat-making station. A merch section. And a FREE bus tour that takes you downtown.
Bottom line. Come on in!!

“We really loved Southern Grist when we first found it. Great craft beers and a great food menu, but as of late, the food menu disappoints. Anyone can do burgers and beers. Bring back the chicken sandwich, bao buns and vinegar potatoes. Your menu made you unique now you’re just like everyone else.“

“I came by last week and sat at the bar. My bartender Kelly was everything you could ask for and more. She was super attentive, her drinks tasted amazing, and her conversation was so refreshing, as the bartenders on Broadway all seem miserable. It was good to see such a bright light in the industry here in town. I had the pepperoni pizza and was very pleased. Just enough crunch and plenty of cheese. Service 10/10 food 8/10. Will definitely be back because of Kelly!“

“I remember skateboarding across the street while they were building this place and thought it was going to be so lame. Turned out to be one of my favorite places in Nashville! The $9 burger is awesome, and at that price the value is unbeatable. I come here often and get the burger, fries, and chips and dip. Bartenders are awesome people and I love seeing all my friends here when I go. The big pickle has to be a joke lol. Anyways, great place!“

“Only had drinks….because we couldn’t suffer through the overwhelming smoke smell. They have a nice cigar room with a good selection. Also a wide variety of drinks and cool ambiance (minus the smoke).
You need to understand, this is a SMOKING BAR.

“I first visited Up-Down several years ago for a birthday and loved it. I told myself, “One of these days, I’m gonna have my birthday here!”
Whelp, that day finally came this past April!
We had a big group and had a wonderful time. The staff are very friendly, the pizza is delicious, and you get free tokens for games on your birthday!

When we first walked into this place, we felt a tad deceived. It looked just like any other hotel bar, plus the addition of books as decor. Then we saw the menu. To say that it was hard to choose would be an understatement. And when the food arrived… all preconceived notions of just another hotel bar disappeared. This food is SO good! The flatbreads are the perfect balance of crunchy and chewy. The poke bowl looks exactly as advertised, and tastes even better. Some of the foods seem like mildly strange combinations at first, but then they blow your mind! This is so far above just another hotel bar!“

“What a beautiful hidden gem! My husband and I have been here a couple of times and our last time we went was so wonderful. It’s a relaxed vibe that is also very well put together so you can come dressed up or in relaxed clothing and you’ll fit right in either way. We both got sake flights and oh my goodness- each flavor was phenomenal! My favorites were the Cloud Palace and the Gunma(I apologize if I spelled that wrong). Not only were the drinks delicious, the service was top notch- Noah was very knowledgeable and friendly to chat with! Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to relax after work or have a quite date night.“

“I haven't had much mead before, but after drinking here it may become my drink of choice. These guys know what they're doing, everything I tried was very well done. The bouquet was really unique, and I enjoyed the ginger fields a lot as well. “This place gets more the 5 stars from me. Took my family here july 4th for dinner and what a great time. The food was the best. We go to a pub back home in pennsylvania thought we had the best burgers. Nope this place was the best. Food was out of this world and the service from the staff was perfect. The 2 young bartenders working sat night did a great job very professional polite did an awesome job. If i ever get back to this area again ill be coming here. Thanks for a great time great food and awesome people. Nashville should be proud to have this place. Thanks again!“

“Overall it is a cute experience. Upon going in they give you a bracelet and take like 10 dollars to allow you to self serve beer/wine. Keep in mind that all the options are not stocked so you have to really look around to see. The food could be improved or just more options. Basically appetizers like mini pizza, chips and dip, pretzels and dip. Plenty of board games to play with friends. Plenty of seating options. No designated parking from what I saw. Team is very professional and approachable. I went when they had trivia. Probably the wrong day if youre not wanting to play and talk. The mic is so loud.“

“They took our group of almost 20 at the last minute when I called after another reservation fell through. We were celebrating our late son’s 21st birthday and it was important for us to celebrate just as he would have. Velvet Room went above and beyond for us. Put us in a private room, the food was great, drinks and hookah were great and the server was amazing. She was patient and didn’t miss a beat. The owner was also incredible for allowing us to come in with basically no notice.“
