TL;DR: Salsa is mediocre, but everything else is great. Don't expect anything to be spicy though.The salsa is a little bland, but this may make it more approachable for people who don't like cilantro or prefer less peppery salsa.I highly recommend the Quesabirria. Food is great. Every single time I come here though, I have to wait 20+ minutes for the check. If it takes 20 minutes to ring up a bill, that’s fine, but please start creating it when I get my food. Not when I finish. Waiting around 20+ minutes AFTER I am done with my food is very annoying.

My husband and I came to Casa Mexicana at Winchester and Houston Levee, Rd in Collierville for a nice relaxing dinner after a long day of work. Ask for Isabelle to be your server. She is fantastic!! She recommended the Casa Mexicana margaritas, cheese dip and shrimp tacos. We loved the service and the food was delicious. Isabelle made us feel welcome and appreciated from the minute we sat down at the bar for dinner! Come to Casa Mexicana today!!
