“I came to support a group of students earlier this week to celebrate winning king and queen of the school. First of all let me say the staff was very rude to the administration staff. Even though reservations were made and confirmed and they knew in advance that the students were coming they refused to seat our party and denied the reservations ever being made even after being shown the email messages. The female manager asked for us to wait outside of the restaurant being that it was about 42 degrees that day until the limousine arrived to pick the students back up . The children were dressed in their Sunday best with white dresses and the young boys were in tuxedos and were looking forward to having their luncheon that was awarded to them for their hard work at school. I strongly believe that if the students were not all African American and staff as well they would have treated us differently. I will never ever support nor spend money with Majestic Grill again. I was hurt the way they treated these students who worked oh so hard and were looking forward to what was supposed to be a special day to remember.“

“We were staying couple of nights in Memphis and wanted to experience a local BBQ joint. This is about as authentic as it gets! We had beef brisket and pulled pork one night and ribs the next night. Yes, we ate there both nights, it was so good. But the best was the cole slaw! They made it with red cabbage, jalapenos, and blue cheese. The best I've ever eaten. The staff were courteous, kind, and funny. My kind of place! 5 STARS“

“An amazingly decorated little place!! We went to the location in Germantown. Quaint, friendly, super fast and amazing service! Zebra cake ice cream was awesome, Nanner’ puddin was very bananas! Stephen, the bar manager, was very knowledgeable about all the menu items, their ingredients and how they were prepared. He made excellent recommendations. But whoever came up with the recipe for the jalepeno brew…. They deserve all the good things in life. This is the best beer I have ever had. It’s the best jalepeno flavored drink I’ve ever had, and I am completely obsessed.

“A cold December morning in Memphis (a native Chicagoan would have called it brisk), sent me on a search for a coffee that would make me miss my wife and newborn son a little less; it would not just perk me up, but also provide the warmth I was longing for from my better half and put a smile on my financial advisors face.

As I walked away from a place where dreams were assassinated, I found myself on a street less than ordinary. The establishment I was in search of would have been missed if it was for my GPS telling at me that I had arrived. The only sign was on the sidewalk and could easily be missed it a car were strategically parked in front of it.

The storefront was unassuming and I thought I was in the wrong place, but when I opened the door, I noticed the counter inside a large boutique.

Her smile and greeting started to fought the cold that wanted to stick to me. Sadie (I hope it was the common spelling) was her name.

I looked over the menu on the counter, which she proudly said she creates herself and wanted to order everything, but I asked for something that would make me feel...Mom, and I hugged myself. A couple questions and suggestions later I decided on the Campfire.

It checked all the boxes. Why would anyone choose Novadollars over this place?

Sadie was like someone you would read about in a magical fiction, mixing just the right amount of warmth, care, and kindness into something that was sold as coffee.

Anyone can make coffee, but not every coffee can make an experience.“

“Nice enough hotel, easy to get to and get around from. Staff were friendly, bar area was nice. We had an issue with leaking water after some bad weather and it was dealt with quickly. Annoyingly didn't have a mini fridge which we like to have for water. Beds were comfy, bathroom was incredibly small. Overall, it was a decent enough MOXY and have stayed in a few.“

We grabbed dinner here the other night and it was magnificent! THE Mike Garibaldi himself greeted us at the door and introduced us into the restaurant making some recommendations. While we had never been to this location, we’ve been going to Garibaldi’s for many decades.

We started with the pizza bread and you have to know that the bread was probably the softest I’ve ever eaten. I had the spaghetti dinner with meat sauce and Italian spinach on the side. The food was delicious! Hot and flavorful. We also got a cheese pizza that was good as well.

It was great being at a local restaurant owned and managed by one of the longstanding families in the city.“

“As a family we all love coffee! I have to say that not only is their coffee out of this world tasty and flavorful but the owner is just as amazing!!! I've been to a lot of coffee places and none of them can compare to how great their coffee is. If anyone is ever in Memphis and enjoys coffee and muffins this is the place to go. Definitely would recommend the Mississippi mudslide or the chocolate covered cherry!!!“

“Everyone there is so friendly and the manager goes above and beyond. Loved the atmosphere in there and you can't go wrong with the coffee and don't forget to grab a delicious danish, fresh made each morning, only if they don't sale out before you get there. They are that good.“

“My husband and I stopped here on our way home to Texas from East Tennessee and had THE BEST time! The atmosphere, food, drinks, and staff are top notch! Our server, Debbie, had a great recommendation for the whiskey in my old fashioned and complimented my husband’s choice on his whiskey flight, giving him her advice on how to progress through the drinks for the best experience. The scotch eggs, fish and chips, bread pudding, and Bailey’s cheesecake were all fantastic! We’re making Celtic Crossing Memphis a must stop anytime we’re in our passing through Memphis from now on and recommend everyone to try them out!!“

“This is a 4.5 place! I had the chitlins, greens, candied yams and it came with a piece of hot water corn bread. My bill was 25.00. It was all soooo good! I literally didn't make it home and just ate in my truck while listening to music. Hattie B. Is so nice and personable. She favors my grandma who just passed last year and meeting her made my heart smile. This is a must go for great soul food. I took it down a half star due to them only excepting cash and I didn't see any seating. It's a lil bit on the pricier side, but it was worth it.

Parking: It's on a one way street and this place has a lot of people that go after church. I parked on the next block literally across the street from the restaurants corner“

“Ordered a New Yorker, some kind of Soup Which who knows what was in it - it was Luke-warm , meaning it obviously wasn’t temp to proper level - some worker with a Bad attitude asked me how my lunch was ,& I told her terrible… she gets the Owner Lady and now I know where the Bad attitude came from - you have an owner that’s a 5 and expect your workers to be a ten - doesn’t work that way … flys all over the restaurant cause the front door is propped wide-open which I bring up and something about they are moving furniture in and out , which I saw no-one doing - flies all over the front window, I move from the window to a table and they’re all over the Table … the Sandwich had Raw, Purple cabbage on it - the owner called it SLAW - NO, SLAW is a “mixture” of Cabbage in dressing … anyway - the owner doesn’t like criticism one bit - I’m NOT going to tell you a $21 dollar sandwich is good when it’s NOT Could be a nice spot - but might need a New Owner & less flies...“

We had 6 people in our party and we all agreed that this is a great place to visit a LOT.
Karaoke was super fun and the sound system was awesome, which is hard to find in a lot of places .
We met the owner. We met the manager and we met a lot of other people as it really was that friendly.
