We've rounded up Morristown's top Mexican spots for you to try.
“My favorite Mexican restaraunt here in Morristown, Tennessee is Mexico Lindo! The absolute best cheese enchiladas in town, I've been to so many Mexican restaurants and they just don't make their enchiladas right. It's all in the sauce! Mexico Lindo's brown sauce is to-DIE-for! I would eat here everyday if I could. My fiancé normally orders a steak Mexico Lindo or something with steak in it it and of course he enjoys it too! Only time I ever had a complaint was with the waiters/waitresses sometimes they take a little too long talking to another table and kind of forget about us. If you don't mind waiting and have an ounce of patience they're just fine though ☺️Kid-friendliness: We frequently visit with my fiancés younger brother and they're always super nice to him! I see big families in there all the time with babies and little kids.“
“I have been a loyal customer, since they first started in a small food truck, all the way up to what they are now. An if you’re looking for a truly authentic Mexican style food, ladies and gentlemen you will not be disappointed with the variety of food choices you have available. If you love your tacos, quesadillas, and subs. This is one stop you must take an enjoy such delicious street vendor food.“
“Such great service, food was amazing! We had a great server, I wish I got his name but he was so funny and sweet. Amazing prices for the amount of food you get. Drinks were strong and delicious. Enchiladas were so good and I had a liquid marijuana drink which was made to perfection! If you're in Morristown this little gem of a place is definitely worth checking out!! If I ever find myself back in this town I will be coming back!“
“This establishment I can truly say, has some of the best authentic Mexican food one can ask for, on top of that they have there own butchery shop with in the store, I’ve been dining in this place with my parents over the past 3 years an I can confirm the food is out standingI recommend the fried talapia truly outstanding“
“The food is authentic but a little pricey. Eating inside is a bit closed in and small. The servers were very nice and it's open only on Friday Saturday and Sunday. Located on the corner of road, almost across Popeye's. The sauces are very good as well“
“I've been to many Mexican restaurants over the years, but this is by far the very best of them all! There were five in our dinner party, one of whom is a professional chef. After finishing his meal, his comment was "This is the best I've ever eaten!" Not only was the food excellent, but the ambiance was relaxing and friendly. Our server got every order correct, checked on us frequently and shared his great sense of humor with us, which we all enjoyed! Two other staff members made friendly appearances. As for a recommendation, we all would highly recommend this gem of an eatery!! We also thank the entire staff for providing us an excellent experience. Out of a five star rating, we give it a ten!!!“
“I'm very satisfied with my meal and service. Got an order of pastor tacos and Horchata. Tacos were great! Horchata is made differently than what I've had but it's good! They do operate differently than what I'm used to, but overall the service is great and I had a lovely conversation with them. I went in when it was slow, so my order was made within 10-15 min. I would recommend giving them a try!“
“This was our first visit to El Charrito. Very affordable food and very good wait staff. I ordered the enchilada, taco, beans and rice lunch special. My meal was $6.99. they gave us a complimentary little dessert thing, very nice touch and something that will earn repeat business. 4.5 stars.“
