We just returned from a 4-day convention held at the Gaylord Opryland Resort, and as we shared the highs and lows of the overall trip, breakfast at Cascades was among the definite high. In fact, my husband rated it as the best experience he had on the entire trip.\n\nFirst, you should know this breakfast buffet is not inexpensive. We enjoyed a delightful breakfast buffet. Whatever your likes they had it available- eggs, sausage, bacon, omelets, eggs Benedict, pastries, fruit, fresh juice, pancakes, puddings, etc. Traditional and healthy choices. Very nice staff.
Arrived at hotel around 8:30, made it to the room and came back down to Cascade around 9:30. The waiter was a younger fella but he gave great suggestions. I ordered the shrimp sushi as an appetizer and the half chicken with potatoes. The food was really good and tasty. Both the chicken and potatoes were seasoned perfectly.
