“Kisser was a phenomenal experience from start to finish. The service, ambiance, and food were all exceptional, and in a caliber of their own, especially here in Nashville. The beef tartare is a MUST as are the onigiri for appetizers. The caramel miso Creme brulee has amazing depth and is on point across all categories. The venue is small, so you may have to wait but it is WELL worth it!“

“Sushi-San truly went above and beyond for us. I accidentally made our reservation for the wrong date, and on one of the busiest nights of the year! New Year’s Eve! The incredibly kind and accommodating staff (wish I knew all their names) still managed to fit my husband, our baby, and me in. I was beyond grateful for their generosity and understanding. It was my husband’s birthday, and had they not helped us, the night honestly would have been a disaster (NYE restaurant crowds are no joke!). On top of the outstanding hospitality, the food was absolutely phenomenal! It’s fresh, delicious, and brought out quickly despite how busy they were. We decided to get the soft-serve on our way out and it was the perfect ending to our evening!! 10/10 experience. We highly recommend Sushi-San and will definitely be back. “It’s been a number of years since we frequented Kayne Prime due to a move out of state. Last night’s experience was excellent. We were celebrating my husband’s retirement and each staff member we encountered asked about it, congratulated him and took care to make it notable. You also upped your game with the cute goat cheese tarts and palette cleanser. Last night was truly an experience above the excellent meal you are known for. We are blessed to have dined in many high end restaurants and last night you especially rose to the top. Must shout out our server Matthew. He is so knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. “Great restaurant. Ichiban has come in clutch so many times. Very convenient place to get quality Japanese food! Great service. They give you a good amount of food with the meals as well. Hibachi Chicken and teriyaki Chicken bento box are both great choices.“

“This fried chicken we got was next level DELICIOUS, from the breading, to the chicken seasoning, and that special sauce it came with. Yum!!! Highly recommended! The portion is large and priced reasonably. We found this place online and was skeptical at first since it’s not a traditional set up restaurant, turned out to be such a hidden gem! “Fantastic meal! Love the menu. We sat outside but beautifully elegant ambience inside. About an hour or so before we walked over to eat I stopped in and got a menu and the ladies at the hostess podium were super kind. When we came back we were again met by a very helpful employee, Delilah. She sat us immediately and ended up being our server for the meal. She was thorough and knowledgeable. The service and the meal were perfect! We will absolutely be regularly returning and we will be requesting Delilah every time. Great experience and I would highly recommend this place to anyone! P.S.- They do lunch from 12-3pm, happy hour (including apps) from 3-6pm. And apparently they have a rooftop (kid friendly) open on Friday & Saturday evenings until 12am.“

“This is my favorite Japanese restaurant in Nashville. And always has been since I was little. The food is still really good there, even to this day. However, the biggest reason I love coming here is because of Bruce. He is the man. He is so energetic, funny, and entertaining to his customers. He's been cooking it out for 43 years, and it amazes me how he is still there today. Sadly, he wasn't the cook at my table yesterday, but I did get to say hello to him. I will be back again sometime, and hopefully, he'll be our cook 😁“

“This restaurant is run entirely by a single woman. She’s working really hard, and her food is delicious, made with super fresh ingredients. Yes it may be a little slower than some other restaurants with huge staffs, but to me, it’s worth the wait for the cozy feel and good quality. A little kindness and patience goes a long way, yall.“

“Food was just mids to me. It wasn’t bad but it had no flavor. 15 bucks for mids just ain’t it for me. I got the large chicken teriyaki with white rice. Wait was short and staff were nice.

“We tried this lovely and delicious restaurant last night. The first thing I learned was they have two menus- one for sushi/sashimi and one for Thai cuisine. This review is about the Thai menu choices. Their menu is available online. There are many different and delicious sounding rice and noodle dishes with veggies that you can order with your choice of chicken, meat, seafood, or tofu. Their diverse menu also offers a tempting selection of fried rice dishes, appetizers, soups, and desserts. They ask you to let them know if you would like your dish to have some heat, and how much. Prices are comparable with or even less than other Thai restaurants I’ve been to. My brother chose red curry, made with coconut milk and mouth wateringly good with veggies, chicken, and jasmine rice. I had pho, a Vietnamese soup. The huge and certainly dinner-size bowl of oh so good luscious broth was filled with noodles, veggies, pork that I chose, and basil, bean sprouts, and slices of jalapeño pepper and lime on the side to be added as desired. I dumped them all in and dug in. Ummm umm SO good, YUM! We had mango sticky rice for dessert. If you like mangos, I’d say this dessert is not to be missed! The rice IS sticky. In fact it’s stuck together- sweet and especially delicious with the mango. The staff was extremely helpful, welcoming and warm and friendly. They enthusiastically answered my questions. We ate in the restaurant. Very clean and attractive. I completely recommend it! We really enjoyed the place, the people, AND the food. Try it!“

“Clean and bright, easy parking, well rounded menu with lots of choices. Portions sizes for more expensive rolls are generous, lower priced rolls are smaller but all very fresh tasting. Udon soup has a smoky rich taste, lots of noodles with a few raw vegetables. The only negative was the frozen fried tofu which is like a sponge - fresh or fresh fried would taste much better. Good selection of alcohol, the sakes, like the coconut lemongrass one are excellent but pricey. We have visited 4 times and have never been disappointed.“

“7pm on a Saturday night, not busy but slow service. The goyza tasted "fishy" (do they put seaweed in the goyza here? That seems strange if they do), the sushi was ok but was unevenly cut leading to some comically large bites. The ramen comes with a fried egg, which just doesn't hit as well as a marinated ramen egg and the katsu pork I'm pretty sure what just a sysco pre-breaded pork chop which wasn't especially tender or flavorful. I have had better experiences here in the past but it fell way short of the mark this time. Also they seem to have some strange obsession with putting asparagus in almost everything, so if you love asparagus this may be your jam but I don't find it works great in sushi rolls.“

We started with Squid Salad and Gyoza then ate our way through totally yummy Crab Bang, YumYum, Eel Nigiri, White Tuna, & Sweet Shrimp… crunchy and delicious! Then we topped it off with Mochi ice cream! Every bite was better than we’ve had in a long time on the road! We had a “Trainee” server…and the rest of their friendly staff helped her provide superior attention! So glad we found KOI SHSHI THAI early in our stay herein Nashville! We’ll be back!“

Nice views, bar and table seating, kind of rude hostess offset by nicer bartenders and servers.

Food was great, drinks were tasty and the sound was great.

We had truffle parmesan fries, Korean fried chicken bites and a burger.
