Our second time to stay here and it was just as nice as the first! The atriums are completely breathtaking and the entire resort is so classy and really makes you feel like you are on vacation from real life. We had an upgraded room that looked over the Cascades atrium. This place is enormous so if you don't like a lot of walking, consider this before you go, although we knew our way around from being there the year before. We stayed during Christmas 2022 and the holiday spirit was alive and well at the Gaylord Opryland. The atrium is complete with a multitude of tropical plants and trees and all types of lights for the Christmas season. Outside the resort had many winter activities, ice skating, snow and sledding. They also had ice sculptures. The room were nice, we had a 2 queen atrium view room. The view from the balcony was amazing and the sound of the waterfalls were so calming. Nice hotel, great food & entertainment but could NOT sleep. Bed had to be in need of replacement with its mattress topper. My back is killing me & no pain reliever at mall or hotel. There is a lot to be said for a good night’s sleep. I am very disappointed not able to get adequate rest.
