“The sandwiches are top tier. The bbq pulled pork is next level..most places give that stringy pulled pork that's dry but they give a chunky meaty juicy pork sandwich that is next level! I'm a Nashville native a real Tennessean and by far they have the real deal pork sandwich. I can't say pulled bbq pork because it's meatier and juicer than any place else. Get a whole sandwich and call me in the morning! Next level!“

“First time at this Subway. Bread was rubbery, never like that compared to other Subways. Customer service is a little dry but young kids working and possibly it's their first job and they're still learning. My largest complaint is that my sandwich had very little tunafish not at all two full scoops so I asked for another half scoop and they charge me $1.50. Could be a better Subway, hopefully it will get there!“

“One of the best drive through options in Smyrna. Service is speedy, accurate, and friendly. The inside is OK, but on a nice day they have some outdoor seating. I really like the Classic Carol on a croissant. Mac and cheese side is super creamy. Extra shout out to their support of the troops on Veteran's Day. Thank you for going above and beyond what most restaurants offer.“

“This was my first time visiting this location. A young male and female employee were working inside, and the establishment appeared clean and well‑maintained. It wasn’t busy during my visit, and I placed my order through the app.

I initially thought I had cash on me, but I didn’t, so I used tap‑to‑pay instead. I enjoyed their music selection, and I tipped them with the change I had in my car — something is better than nothing, especially during the holidays when it all adds up.

It’s a tucked‑away little spot that I wouldn’t have known about if I hadn’t searched for it on Google. Definitely worth checking out.“

Gentleman completely messed up order and instead of just telling us oh well he made it right and offered us to keep the food that was messed up due to his mistake. “A brief story: Our family doesn’t live in Smyrna. However, my wife had our baby in Smyrna and we ended up being stuck in the NICU for two weeks. During this time my generous father (pictured on left) offered to get us food every day since my wife stayed at the hospital with our baby.

We’re so thankful to have found Penn Station Smyrna because not only did we have great food during a troubling time, but we started to notice encouraging notes and cookies added to our meals. We probably had 10 meals over the course of 15 days.

We specifically want to shout out and thank Trinity and Elijah for their service, hospitality, and care over those two+ weeks.

After getting home with our baby we made it a goal to go back and visit in person (and of course order some more food 😎). We are so thankful for this little sandwich shop. The team brought us joy, encouragement, surprise, and delicious sustenance while we were in a tough stretch as a family. We didn’t know we needed Penn Station Smyrna but they really went above and beyond. We’re so thankful!“

“This is the best subway I’ve been to, the workers there are always friendly and Charlie, the manager, even remembers how I like my sandwiches, I don’t even have to ask anymore for what I want, because they already know. I highly recommend the place!“

“But only if you eat in. I eat there often , but today it took over 2 hours to get food on a delivery order Only half arrived and the food that came was not right and bread was dry. Refunded us for food that didn’t come , but didn’t seem very concerned. If I mess up in my business I bend over backwards to make it right. Definitely not Publix or Chick-fil-A😫“

“This is my local subway, and the only one I visit unless I’m out of town. You’re in and out quite quickly, never had any issues with any of my orders. Friendly staff and fresh ingredients. I have enjoyed all my sandwiches made from this place. Thumbs up.“

“Ordered the limited edition french dip thru doordash.
Au Jus leaked all in the bag, meat was grizzly. The meat didn't even cover the whole roll. Very disappointed for $18 for the large sandwich.
Flavor was good but I've had much better sandwiches here and I most definitely have had better french dips pretty much everywhere I've had them.“

“Visited for first time today. Saw a fly around the food. Staff needs to be watchful and take steps to protect the food, such as get rid of any flies. It is gross and turnoff. Staff was nice and area otherwise was clean. Bread was soft and food great.“

“Jersey Mike's makes legit subs like they do in Jersey (where I was raised). Only difference is you can't get the rolls used up there. Even if you don't care about any of that, Jersey Mike's has a variety of good sandwiches & is the best of the chain sandwich shops.“

“I will be honest, I didn’t purchase a sub this visit but I will the next time - which will be soon. The reason is because of your employee Damon.
I walked in sweaty, a few minutes prior to 8pmCST after a 6mile run (humble brag). I asked if I could possibly fill up my water bottle - which I thought I had filled up more prior to leaving my house. “Old Hickory Blvd location is good! Could work on being friendlier but otherwise good food & they gave me extra meat for my dog! I paid for it but they wrapped it up separate & nice! Fast service! But also had to grab my own cup after not given one. Again, work on customer service! Sad when businesses lose customers just because they dont teach cashiers how to speak or say “ thank you” ....duh!“

“This is the nicest Subway I’ve ever been in my whole life (and I’m old!). The store was immaculate - it was so clean, organized, and looked new. The young woman who served us was very friendly and she made our sandwiches with care. I’m so happy this is my nearest Subway. They really set the bar high here.“

“The sandwich artist making my order today (Nov 26th @ around 8 pm) is truly an artist. I ordered via DoorDash and I’ve learned to lower my expectations when I’ve ordered from this Subway before. But the sandwich was PERFECT. Generous portions of veggies and meat, not completely smothered in condiments. There was also some confusion because of the way I ordered that was completely my fault but they added some cookies as an ‘apology’ when it was my mistake? Overall just a great experience and I’ll be ordering from here frequently again if they keep it up with making great sandwiches like that!“

“The sandwich artist doesn't want you to like it; they want you to love it. I'm not a big fan of Subway, but this particular location moves fast and greets you before you order. Dawn before dusk. They did the best they could with my turkey and cheese sandwich. I love the cookies but I'm going have to let the ice go. Bad teeth ache.“

“This review is for the Subway at 769 Bell Road in the shopping strip with Plato's Closet. I will pass other Subways, even one closest to me, to go to this one. In this one, the people are SO nice, the food is good, and I don't feel cheated on the amount. For me, customer service goes a long way.
