“The ambiance was a flashback to my earlier days. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Now for the food...WOW! I had the chicken and dressing and my husband had the catfish...both of which were excellent. Dessert was definitely the icing on the cake, as I got the Hummingbird cake which was the best I've ever tasted. We will be back and enjoy more amazing food.“

“Bojangles is honestly my go-to fast food stop whenever I’m traveling, and this visit reminded me why. They were crazy fast getting our order out, which is always a huge plus when you’re on the road. We both got the chicken sandwiches and they were seriously good—crispy, flavorful, and honestly on the same level as Chick-fil-A in my opinion.
The only small issue was that they forgot to include a spork for my dirty rice. Thankfully I keep some spare silverware in the car, otherwise I probably would’ve had to deduct a star because that would’ve made it pretty hard to eat. Aside from that little oversight, the food was fresh, tasty, and the speed of service was impressive. Definitely one of my favorite fast food stops when traveling.“

“We stopped in for breakfast as we were waiting for our little dog to be groomed down the street. We had Grandma's Sampler and the food was delicious. Service was great. The appearance of the restaurant was very clean. I checked out the store before we left. There were great sales and excellent merchandise depicting Easter and Spring. The store was clean, well-stocked and maintained. It was a pleasure to hang out there while waiting to pick up our fur baby.“

“I love Slim Chickens food....but after tonight, I'm a fan of their service as well! We placed a delivery order through the app. Our food showed up but the driver didn't even ring the bell. They dropped our food off on the sidewalk. We figured out it was there because our dog barked when they pulled out of the driveway. Our food was right....hot and fresh but the 3 dessert jars were missing...which shouldn't be an issue except they are fairly pricey (but totally worth it). I called the delivery persons phone and he said "no english" and hung up on me. I sent a text to him hoping that he was using Google translate and he came back to our house. My husband went to meet him in the drive and all he said was "that's all they gave me. call store". We called the store and the manager got on the phone. I explained the situation to him and he remembered putting the 3 jars with our order so he knew the driver had kept the desserts. He gave me a choice of a refund or he would send our desserts to us....no questions asked. Our desserts showed up 15 minutes later by a great driver (Emma) and all ended well. Great service and food by the Thompson Lane location!!!!!“

“My son and I had breakfast for the first time today at The Fried Tater Cafe. The breakfast was fantastic and the young man working the restaurant was amazing. I was just informed that the young man was the grandson of some very dear friends of ours. (Moon Ball and Virginia). Thank you! We will be back.“
