“Unfortunately we will never go back to the Local Eatery. We moved here 3 years ago from Southern California and fell in love with the Local as we live right up the street, for 2 years we had dinner there every Friday night and loved the entertainment,during football season we were there every Saturday and Sunday for lunch or dinner for Football, we stopped going for dinner on Fridays when the menu changed, but still stopped in on a Saturday or Sunday for lunch and cocktails, yesterday Saturday the first home Vols game they did not have,so no more Saturdays because we can watch it at home but really enjoyed watching it at the Local, so we watched it at home, today we went to the Local to watch the Saints game and have lunch, they we very short handed and couldn't get the Saints game, we are so disappointed in the Local Eatery that we will NEVER patronize them again, it amazes me how in 1 year a Local staple can go from being a place that local Boyd's Creek residents gathered to enjoy friends and family to a restaurant that is such a disappointment.“

“One of the best barbecues I've had in a long time. Everything from the chicken to the brisket was amazing and juicy. The owner interacted with both my boys and gave them an extra serving of pulled pork since they devoured the sampler. He then brought me out a tin of his personal rub he uses on his barbecue. Great food, great small little place and very respectable hard working people.“

“We went tonight for my mom’s birthday and our Waitress, Jen, was absolutely AMAZING!!! She interacted with all of us so well and cut up and chatted with us and we never had to “want” for anything. Way to go with a restaurant name. I had a burrito salad which came with very fresh veggie salad and hubby had a tasty French Dip-gone healthy: lean Angus Beef, swiss cheese, and sauteed onions, served with au jus. Their fresh made soups are great too.“

“Service was horrible . You weren’t busy had to ask 3 times for water. Cop an attitude. The host is in the wrong location . She can’t see people walking in. Even when they did she never went around to greet customers. She was on her on phone .“

“Gorgeous modern farmhouse setting. Lots of seating and bright light shining in. Located right next to SkyLand Ranch on Pigeon Forge’s main parkway. Portions are ginormous. Loved everything including the biscuits and hearty griddle cakes. Little bit of something for everyone!“

“Food was good. Not too different from some of the best we’ve had. But service could be improved. After drinks we had to wait a while to get someone to take our order even though we were ready. Not that there were nobody in sight but a bunch including the one that finally came over were folding napkins and engaged in a boisterous conversation right next table. We were never given the option of flour/corn tortillas and we forgot as well. After food was served we wanted ask for corn tortillas as one of us has gluten allergy. Again took way too long for someone to show up. We even signaled someone in that table folding napkins he had to call someone and after quite a while someone showed up inquiring how’s everything. When we retorted with “we need corn” tortillas he seemed quite taken aback. As if we deviated from the script - “good” with a mouthful. But eventually he brought corn tortillas. By the time we had finished there were no water refills. It felt like that table was abandoned by the assigned host and others were half heartedly chipping in because someone made us sit there. Anyways we got out.“

“This distillery was a must stop on our trip from PA during our elopement and it did not disappoint. Forget those other distilleries and support this place. Not only are their flavors better but man do they have such a friendly environment with top tier hospitality all around. If your lucky enough to be there while Lance is, I guarantee he will make your visit that much more enjoyable. Also did I mention FREE samples ??? 15 to be exact (those other guys charge) 😅 So if your going to Pigeon Forge and looking for a distillery, forget the others and go to Smith Creek, Lance and the crew will be sure to make your stop memorable.“

However, there are some customers that just come in from other states (tourist) who come in and disrespect not only the restaurant , but the peace of others, during lunch. Bringing a dog inside a restaurant, having it sit on the bench and feeding it your food, then having the audacity to complain to the server about the volume of meat on your order! You need not come back! You people were totally disrespectful to everyone. Yelling at the manager, not acceptable. Sad this happens with tourism.“

“Great menu. Not so many things that you think "How can all this be good" but still have an item for every kind of food mood you might be in. The atmosphere is nice. The gas lights around the stone wall add an upscale and romantic vibe. Good looking bar with a great selection. Drinks are very affordable. The steaks are fantastic, cooked how you want. The bang bang shrimp and brisket egg rolls are must-have apps. Their smash burgers are great too. Honestly, I haven't had anything bad here or any kind of negative experience. They accommodate large parties and have a first-come bar. We eat here every time we are in the area.“

“Excellent Thai food. We all had pad thai. It was so delicious. Plus we had spring rolls and baby back ribs as appetizers. My husband had Thai iced tea. It was the bomb. I had Mexican coke made with sugar cane instead of high fructose corn syrup. Our server was very nice and knowledgeable about all the questions we asked. The whole restaurant has glass windows all around. There's a river on one side. We highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely go back.“

“This restaurant is a very good place to go when you're wanting good food at a low price. The waitresses do a very good job of refilling drinks. The food is fresh.The employees work hard to keep the buffet stocked. It is by no means a fancy place. You can go in there in any attire.“

“This place!!!! Not only is the food AMAZING But the staff are so nice and treat you out of this world good. If you're looking for a nice place to stop and eat and no chain restaurants, stop in and try the food. The smoked bologna is my favorite but everything we had was delicious! The baked beans, green beans with potatoes in it, even down to the homemade family recipe sauces. You will not regret stopping here. Oh and get the fried pickles.. best we've had!!!“

The place has some wear and tear, which seems perfectly fine for a diner that's been around for awhile. We visited on a Saturday evening, and got seated immediately. This is a nice alternative to the packed restaurants you usually see in this area.“
