“You'll need to order in Spanish, but we can all learn to use quiero and tienes. Bonus points for a little buen dia action at the end hah I ordered the Birria tacos and a large horchata. I do think the horchata was a mix but it was still good and the tacos were outstanding as was the consommé! ❤️“

“This is basically the food truck version of the el polito express on waldron road, they serve the same food but it’s just better. This was my first time trying this food truck, I got 4 carne asada tacos and horchata. The customer service was great, the workers are very friendly and kind. The total came out to $13.28, I think. (If you dont speak Spanish the price they tell you will probably be the amount before tax). I was sooo upset they were out of radishes today (Mon june 3rd) but they made up for it with some extra green salsa. It only took like 5 minutes until my food was ready. The tacos were delicious, they put salt packets in the bag so I could season them how I wanted and the carrots were so flavorful. The horchata was SO good, it was chalky from the rice and fresh and perfectly balanced. I’m really glad this locations is closer to me than the waldron road one, I’ll DEFINITELY be back.“

“As someone who doesn't eat red meat, it is often hard to find good BBQ that isn't chicken as an option. The turkey was tender and MOIST. The "fries" were so tasty I would be happy to eat them as a meal.“

“We got married on 10/11/2025 and had Southern Spoon for our food at our wedding reception! They are the PERFECT caterers and were the most talked about part of our day by our guests! The food was absolutely fantastic! We did a tasting with Adam and Crystal when we booked them for our wedding and they will truly curate the perfect menu for you and your guests, and they love to get creative! We did a buffet style dinner and our 225 guests were served so efficiently! Our guests were blown away by the food at our wedding and no one left hungry! We couldn’t recommended Southern Spoon enough and will definitely be raving about the food at our wedding for years to come!“
