“The past two times I've gone here there has been hair in my food. First in my avocado roll and today in my veggie hibachi. I've had to requests refunds both times. Today I was questioned about it and told it wasn't anyone's hair there. Why would I be returning something I waited 20 minutes on and only be asking for a refund on the food I didn't eat. I'll definitely never go back there.“

“Isaiah 117 It all started with a T-shirt and a wooden box. Mike and I moved to Tennessee partially in 2020 and finished in 2021. Of course you have to check out the local diners for some good grub. One of the places we went to on occasion was Owen’s in Dandridge. I noticed that the waitresses were wearing a T-shirt that said something about the Isaiah house. I did not have a clue. Then I also noticed a white wooden box shaped like a house that was clearly for donations. I usually don’t put money into boxes without checking out what it was all about. After a few more visits to Owen’s, I googled the organization. Hmmm, I liked what I read. There was a link for an online book that I listened to via Spotify. It told the entire story of how Rhonda’s eyes were opened to seeing a need for foster children here in Tennessee. How her and her husband were on the path of becoming foster parents and how they noticed that sometimes children who are removed from their biological family without a plan for where they will go next. Sometimes the social worker would have them stay in the office, even overnight until a foster family could be found. This broke Rhonda’s heart. Isaiah 1:17 says we should defend the fatherless, Rhonda was convicted. Yes, why couldn’t there be a place kids could go that was overflowing with love during such a difficult time. Out of that conviction grew Isaiah 1 17 house. Beautiful White House’s with a red front door that welcomes children with open arms. They bathe, they clothe, they feed, they give a warm bed, they provide safety, warmth and lots of love. Children may stay up to 3 nights as the social worker figures out where this child or children will be placed. My love for this organization as just one person has spread. I first introduced it to my friend Martha, then to my P.E.O. Sisterhood and now to my church. My heart is full. One T-shirt and a wooden box has now influenced many people here in Knoxville, Tennessee. I like the Pecan Pancakes!“

“Burgers were cooked well done charred like hockey pucks, although we asked for them to be medium. Waiter only took 15% off the bill instead of taking them off the bill or re cooking some. Drinks were average. Seemed to be too busy for their staff to handle. Went back a second time and the food was cooked perfectly...“

“Stayed at a nearby hotel while visiting for work. I chose this Waffle House tonight and it was the nicest one I've ever been to. The two ladies working there made me feel welcomed, they took great care of me and the food was great. I'm going back again this week before I leave town this weekend. Great job Christina and I wish I knew the young ladies name who cooked my food. You two are so kind and friendly.“

“When we arrived, we were met at the door by the manager. He did not smile the entire time he interacted with us. He almost acted as if it was a bother to try to find us a seat. The waiter made up for his being so unprofessional. The waiter was very attentive, smiled a lot and went out of his way to take care of us. I've been there many many times since they opened. The food was fair at best but the service we received from the waiter was excellent“

“I'm not lying when I say this is probably the best fast food I've ever had. Prices are better than any other competition. Quality is so much better like their burger is one of the most delicious burgers I've had. The Frenchie Fries are a must. I dont know what they do to make them but they are beyond a doubt the best fries I've ever had. If you're in Johnson City, Pal's is a must“

Parking: Super easy to find

“I was not sure what to say but here it goes.... Yes, I absolutely 100% recommend Angelos At The Point. Sometime ago I was a singer here, things went in a different direction, I expressed displeasure, and I stopped going for a while, almost 2 years. I wen't in yesterday with my gf and had a great time! We had a "Man-Mosa" (needless to say they helped my nap lol and were quite good!). We also enjoyed some Greek thing with Pita and Olives. An awesome experience all-around in a rare patron point of view for me. I realize after this experience how petty I was to not go back for a while. I will definitely return whether as a customer or performer. I dont recall the bartender's name but she was great too! -dmc-“
