“This is absolutely the best bagel I've ever had in my entire life. That firm crunch on the outside and soft and fluffy inside and that Schmear tho! “Today met a dear friend for breakfast, my first time at La Casita. I ordered an egg and vegetable hash that was delicious along with a wonderful cappuccino. It was a delight to find a cappuccino with such well proportioned and balanced flavor, a relief from the huge milky offerings so many other places serve. We shared a guava and strawberry filled pop tart, which involved a perfect delicious tender flaky pastry wrapped around a both slightly sweet and tart filling. Our server, Tess, was very knowledgeable of the menu and helped us with our selections, and later we were treated by Jesus to a scrumptious seasonal glazed bun. That glazed bun was honestly too good for words, mildly sweet, hint of cinnamon, just oodles of delicious texture and subtle flavor. Obviously, I will return soon.“

“A cute neighborhood bagel shop with VEGAN cream cheese (FINALLY!)! I always love when I pull up to a storefront and the patio is set with tables and chairs and door propped open - it makes it feel welcoming and inviting to me. I was greeted immediately upon entering the shop, which I love and the wait time was super quick (unlike some other places) and the bagels...Excellent. You can tell they are homemade and fresh. They have many breakfast options if bagels are not your thing. I also got cold brew which was good. Overall, I am very pleased to have this in our neighborhood. Great service with a smile and great bagels! YUM!

Vegetarian options: Most of the bagels are vegan by default, they have vegetarian sandwiches and they have vegan cream cheese for us vegans!

Parking: Surface parking lot in front of the shop is also adjacent to Tom Thumb so there is plenty of parking.“

“😡First time, last time - I was really looking forward to those bagels, too. Cashier rang my order up wrong, $3.00 difference (more). Instead of explaining the mistake and letting me pay the difference or just let it go (wasn't my fault), manager insisted on voiding the transaction to re-ring "correctly." Told her just credit the ticket and left. Terrible attitude to take with any customer, especially a new one (which I mentioned more than once).“

“We drive past 2 Einstein's to get to this one. Chris (Manager?) is very nice and friendly, always open to a chat and suggestions on how to improve my bagel. Most Importantly, they still serve open face bagels. The store is clean and well stocked on coffee supplies. It's a stark contrast to the lousy Einstein's at Legacy/Independence.“

“Loved the bagels, vanilla cold brew, pastries, and the different types of cream cheese. My favorite was the jalapeno bagel, and the jalapeno cream cheese. Ana was really nice helping me choose what to order for my roadtrip that i was doing back to CA. Clean environment and easy to park. Highly recommend a visit here when visiting Texas.“

I usually don’t leave reviews but his personality is so bright. He managed to bring down a line that was hitting the door and was able to get every single person in that line to walk away from the register with a laugh. Great job to him For making his job and those orders look easy, I wanted him to know he is doing a great job.“
