“We order an entire meal this Thanksgiving and it was excellent the turkey, stuffing and gravy were excellent. We didn’t expect turkey to be smoked. It was so delicious! With prices being so high, their prices were comparable to H-E-B We made waffles with our stuffing. They were delicious!“

Prime rib was on point and the pork ribs were as well. I could eat a whole plate of their green beans. A man, maybe a manager, came to assist us at our table as we were trying to get my hubby's wheelchair closer in for him to eat. We finally tried it and Holy Smokin' beef cheeks, Batman. The service is good and the people friendly. The barbacoa is super tender, flavorful and moist, without being greasy. It comes with whole avocados, pico de gallo, your choice of flour or corn tortillas. If you order flour you're doing it wrong. You can optionally get it with the requisite beverage, Big Red. If you order any other drink, you lose your Texican card. It doesn't matter if you hate Big Red as I do. Go Big Red or go home. It has all the ambience of being broken down in your car on the side of a busy highway intersection, which of course is exactly the ambience it should have. They also have tamales and menudo, but online reviews suggest Larry should stick to what he does best--The World's Best Barbacoa--and leave it at that. oh...they only take cash, so leave your credit cards at home, and mindya bizness about if he reports all of it to Uncle Sam. 5 out of 5 stars 🌟“

“Ever since my first visit I’ve been saying I HAVE to get the baked potato the next time. Well today was the day. Grace (the owner) remembered us when we walked in and Leo (?) was super attentive. I managed to snag the last potato loaded with brisket and put inside of mac and cheese on it…hit the spot. Banana Pudding for dessert….absolutely. Only thing that could have made this better was a wheelbarrow to get me to the car once done eating.“

“Service was great…. Becky was very nice. Chef salads were freshly made (grilled chicken and chicken strips on the other) big salads. Chicken fried steak with coleslaw was very tasty and ordered a cheese Burger with fries to go. We will return to this restaurant.

“Speedy service and friendly service!
There were about 10 cars in front of me in the drive thru line but within 14 minutes I was in and out of the parking lot.
My kids love the buckaroo chicken tender meal, very fair in size it almost seems to be the size of a regular combo #4. Only difference that I noticed is a kids drink versus a regular sized cup.
Bonus points for the brownie with nut dessert included 🙂 $6.30 for this meal“
