“The macaroons are the best I have ever had. They were perfectly baked cookie ends filled with perfectly whipped cream filling that wasn’t too sweet. The strawberry and cream had a delicious tangy center and the pistachio was so nutty and toasty. Truly so so good. We stopped by to get Kolaches, and those were good too, but omg the macaroons!“

“Living in the Panhandle of Texas, finding a good TexCzech kolache is next to impossible. I don't mean klobasniky (sausage roll), they are everywhere. If you find yourself in San Antonio, however, may I recommend to you the Kolache Stop, east of I-10 on Huebner. Great selection of delicious–and authentic–kolaches in a welcoming and comfortable establishment. We were greeted kindly and given not only what we came in wanting, but also some excellent suggestions that we were glad to take. Kolache Stop makes kolaches with standard poppy seed, cream cheese, and fruit fillings (my favorite is the apricot!) as well as fruit and cream cheese and (my wife's favorite) nutella and cream cheese. Every variety we tried was delicious. In addition, they make breakfast and dinner kolaches that are worth your trip in. The egg, bacon, and cheese I had was well seasoned and fit the bill for a quick breakfast before we hit the road back to the West Texas plains. And, if you want klobasniky, they've got them, too. 😄 Bottom line, head to the kolache stop and get your kolache cravings filled.“

“The owner of this bakery makes the most decadent cupcakes. I needed to have the cupcakes the same day and they were more than kind enough to make half a dozen for me. Do NOT miss out on their tres leches cake. The birthday girl absolutely loved every last morsel. “The flour tortillas are SOOO good, so many compliments from family and friends asking where I get the tortillas from and it tastes like it was made by some abuela (grandmother) at her house. “I wanna start off this review saying I’m making this review during the Texas Music Educator Association Convention, and even during a VERY busy time like this convention weekend, my order was taken care of pretty quickly. While there was a discrepancy on my order of pepperoni pretzels and how it was placed in the system, the man making the pretzels was pretty good on fixing it quickly. I also picked up 4 classic rolls, and the Churro Chillata while here, which was all ready pretty instantly, and had to wait 12-15 mins for the pretzels. Hope they get to hire extra staff for when it’s needed on weekends like this.“

The managers and employees are pleasant, nice and forever greeting with a beautiful smile. The Turkey Italian Sandwich on Honey wheat is so healthy and freshly prepared by gentlemen who are clean and precised. The Oatmeal chocolate chip cookies and muffins are deliciously fresh. If you want fresh "healthy"eating & Non Covid crowded atmosphere then I suggests Broadway Daily Bread. Furthermore stay healthy limit greasy food intake and stick to whole dry foods like sandwiches fruits & vegetables.“

“For several years I have purchased cheesecakes from the bakery for my youngest daughter’s birthday. She loves the taste of the Old Fashioned original cheesecake. The storefront is a no frills no nonsense setting. This is because the bakery is a commercial operation. They supply their tasty treats to numerous restaurants in the San Antonio and Austin area, but they make time to serve the private customer as well. Just understand that they are a commercial operation. But believe me when I say the tasty treats are worth the trip over into the business park where they are located.“
