“As well seasoned travelers, we were surprised to have such a great experience at Beercode in the San Antonio airport. We sat at the bar and Anika, the bartender, was so personable and took very good care of us. From the delicious drinks and the fantastic burger, to the friendliness of the staff, this place is on point. Best airport restaurant ever!“

“I went there with a bunch of my college friends and honestly everything was great. Chips and salsa was excellent and the guacamole tasted great. We ordered a few top shelf margaritas pitchers and they were just as strong as he said they would be. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately my friends were being rude and lying about what they ordered once they saw the price of the bill. Felt kind of bad for our server because our experience couldn’t have been any better.“

“JP is a very nice place, awesome to hang out and listen to the music. My one and only issue I had yesterday on Father's Day as mentioned below. 1. The beer was warm even after having it in a bucket with the 1st pack of ice. We had to buy 3 more pitchers of ice and even that did not help to bring the beer cool or cold. We ended up drinking it with a cup of ice. It was as if the beer was placed in their refrigerator an hour or so before they opened. And served. And yes I understand there's options that we could have done but that's not the point. We like going to JP but they need their bottle to drink a lot COLDER especially for the summer. Another thing to mention and this will help everyone. Their staff inside need to do less talking and pay attention to the service window. Thank JP for all you ❤️“

“Bar Mon Ami offers an excellent atmosphere with top-notch customer service. We frequent this place and please don’t believe the amount of 1-3 star reviews. You must try this place. Everything on their menu is fairly priced and if you can’t afford, don’t go to a higher class establishment, it’s that simple. It’s a wonderful experience where you don’t have to deal with bar trash and worry about people acting like idiots.The bartenders were exceptionally friendly, and the drinks were both well-crafted and reasonably priced. I’ll definitely be returning again and again! We had to update this when we read some lower reviews. This was the cleanest bar we’ve ever been to. They dust and clean frequently. There are little gems in the bathroom that make it so cozy and you can tell they take care of customers well. It’s the little things and that’s why they are still open.“

“This is a really neat place that I’ve heard such great things about for a few years and finally had the opportunity to try. There is indoor and outdoor seating, two bars to get a wide variety of beers and drinks, and a la tuna grill also (you can order in the grill building which also has indoor and outdoor seating or at the bar area, which is a separate but very close building). I got a fried shrimp poboy which was delicious and I would get again (the bread was too soft for an authentic poboy but nonetheless it was delicious) and my friend got a smashburger. There is a small parking lot and plenty of street parking“

“Detailed Update: November 2025: A Sunday sometime ago, I had a vehicle lockout situation with my truck, and a tall gentleman with a cowboy was helpful and hooked me up with a fellow staff member who glady assisted me out to the truck to the best of his ability with his flash light helping look for the keys and made a recommendation for a locksmith. It left an impression that these guys rock--a blessing to have helpful souls supporting the patrons. Karaoke is awesome as I enjoy singing a song or two, I think and feel you may as well. Emily the host for karaoke is sweet, friendly and an approachable gal, as well as the bartender Taryn has a sharp memory with fixing you a drink the way you like it. These steller souls deserve recognition for the Sunday crew. Visit them if you are in the area and dance, sing, or socialize with flavor, yes or yes?“
