“How is this place so good?! Seriously, how? Located in the middle of a grocery store, this absolutely kicks the butt of most barbecue I have ever had. If I had to pick two items to get again, it would be the Texas torpedo and the fatty brisket. Everything was delicious and fresh, and the ordering process was very simple.“

“My wife and I were in the area and decided to have lunch. All we wanted was a brisket sandwich. As we walk in we were welcomed very warmly. The young lady that assisted us gave us recommendations. My wife had the brisket and sausage without cheese. I had the El Jefe. It was a grounded brisket burger. It was super good. I had it with 2 very crisp and delicious fresh jalapeños. The tea was fresh and delicious. I love the ice. As we walk out we had many staff members wish us a great day and thank us for dinning there. We enjoyed the clean dinning room and warm atmosphere. “We found Joe's by accident and thought we would give them a try. We've had his Brisket, Ribs, Loaded Potatoes, Cheeseburgers and tonight his Street Tacos! Everything is always excellent! And I love his homemade French fries! They remind me of the ones my Mother would make. His prices are always reasonable and you get big portions. “Home , RGV to visit family, craving for BBQ and cousin suggested Ace’s BBQ figuring they knew what I loved. At Edinburg location the place was kinda hidden finding out it was well worth it… brisket was super moist, sausage was on spot, as was the pork having ordered the the huge 3 meats botana plate served over tortilla chips w/ melted cheese (I was hooked)! Well presented and served and you got my business when I return home 3 times a year over Rudy’s.. Great Job and keep it up!.. Sides were very good but I was there for the meats.“

“Convenient. They sell majority what u need. Also fresh food like tortillas barbacoa, tacos, tamales, breakfast, lunch, carnitas Chicharones... They also have raspados and chips with cheese or other snacks! Great place! It does get busy tho.

Parking: Parking is a lil hectic sometimes but it mostly gets packed in the morning and especially on weekends in the morning.

The waitress gets our order mixed up, takes a long time to get our drinks, the food is lukewarm and tastes as if it’s been under a heat lamp a while. But you know what? It was a very enjoyable experience! The confusion and delay was a wonderful icebreaker! We laughed and forgave all. Wouldn’t have had it any other way. “Tried the brisket smash burger ?. Overall the burger was very good ?, although the bacon ? that came with it was a little tough. The burger and the drink was a little over $14. Overall, I liked the burger, but I don't think it was worth the 14 bucks.
I just notice, I asked for the brisket smashed burger, and was charged and given the el jefe burger. I am adding a pic of the receipt

“I love coming here with girlfriend. The rolls are the best but the two times I have had to order to go have not been great. Once right as they were open for about 30 minutes already I was put on hold for 15 minutes as I waited for someone to help. The second time being today I ordered online and when I arrived an item was missing due to being out of stock. Instead of calling and letting me know so I can replace it, they just deducted it. So I had to order the replacement there and wait another 20 minutes as the other food grew cold. Please work on this.“
