The service was outstanding, someone checked on us several times to make sure everything was okay. This was some of the best BBQ brisket that I've had.“

“Went for lunch on Thurs and requested the special of brisket and ribs plate. i got a small mound of meat not recognizable as sliced brisket and I got the small ends of the slab of ribs which looked like cat ribs than pork ribs. Paid over $20 for this I was very disappointed after coming back after 10 yrs away from this place. My coworker order "Texas size" tacos, there was nothing texas size about them. They were stuffed with minimal chicken and mollejas, i guess that must be expensive cuts of meat. I convinced my co workers never to come back to this place there are other places that the food is worth the money you spend.“

“A plate to put your vegetables and pasta and another small red one to put the meats ($12.99 +$3.00 soda or with 1 of vegetables and pasta and 2 of meats that would be chicken, beef, pork, fish or seafood for $16.99 + soda) you prepare it with the condiments of your choice and you take it to the grill so they can prepare it with your choice of sauces (soy, spicy and sweet, orange chicken, etc.) and you have your food ready very quickly.“

“We are from San Antonio and eat at Rudy’s often. I ordered brisket and my wife got a chopped brisket sandwich. We were so hungry but I couldn’t really eat my brisket, even with bbq sauce it was very dry like old leftovers. The staff walks around asking if everything is ok so I mentioned the issue and they went out of their way to get me fresh brisket to eat. Awesome!! That’s customer service at its finest. I will be returning to this location.“

“Good homemade food, brisket sandwich was on the salty side and the rice wasn't cooked all the way through but first time it's happened still very flavorful. Mac and cheese is delicious; potato salad is tasty but a lil heavy on the mustard. Fajitas are good but not as tender as I expected.“

My wife had the brisket and sausage without cheese. I had the El Jefe. It was a grounded brisket burger. It was super good. I had it with 2 very crisp and delicious fresh jalapeños. The tea was fresh and delicious. I love the ice. As we walk out we had many staff members wish us a great day and thank us for dinning there. We enjoyed the clean dinning room and warm atmosphere. “Home , RGV to visit family, craving for BBQ and cousin suggested Ace’s BBQ figuring they knew what I loved. At Edinburg location the place was kinda hidden finding out it was well worth it… brisket was super moist, sausage was on spot, as was the pork having ordered the the huge 3 meats botana plate served over tortilla chips w/ melted cheese (I was hooked)! Place has tons of tables and chairs for a crowd of 30. It's good for large groups. It's clean, and they have friendly staff. It feels more rustic and private than your large chain wing restaurants. But, if it's in the cold 40s, it's chilly inside the restaurant, bring a jacket. Good for takeout too. Call ahead.“
