The woman at the register was amazing. Her name was Erika. She was very helpful and patient. While I was eating, I noticed that she would stay busy constantly bussing tables in between helping customers at the register. Keep up the great work!!!
We love the food here but on two separate occasions we have seen and heard altercations between the kitchen staff and waitresses. One time we even witnessed a fist fight in the kitchen between two of the cooks. This put the whole restaurant on edge and made me and my family very uncomfortable trying to keep our kid from hearing screaming profanity coming from the staff. I really hope this issue is resolved cause we really do enjoy the food and theming of Home Plate Dinner.

Oh my! I haven't been to a Home Plate Diner in probably 15+ years since the last one closed in Lubbock and that one had really gone downhill towards the end.This one is exactly like I remember the ones in Lubbock. The shrimp basket is still amazing and the curly fries and mac and cheese really sealed the deal.I'd driven by this one many times and was hesitance to go on because there were never any cars in the lot.
