“I have been to The Dirty South several times because the food is amazing but unfortunately the servers have always been super slow, distracted by talking to each other and not knowledgeable of the menu and drink offerings. Last night we had a large group of people and the service was AMAZING! 🤩 Our server Megan was the BEST I have ever had there. She was attentive and friendly! “I went on a Friday. I got there around 9:45. It didn't get active until about 10:30. The venue is nice, the dance floor is a little small, but with the amount of people that actually dance, it works out. The DJ is good. He plays a little bit more polka than I like versus two-step. He played country western, then a couple of line dances, then repeat until midnight, and then it was the same formula plus a couple of Latin songs.

There are two sections, the dancehall section, and a pool table section. Both sections have bartenders. Once it gets past midnight, you will be waiting for a couple of songs to get a drink or close out, so take that into account, especially if you choose to have a tab instead of paying cash, since they hold your card.

If I lived in the area, I would definitely go routinely. The staff is decent, and the crowd is okay. If you choose to sit at a table, if you want to keep it, make sure there is at least one person watching it. People will encroach on your table, even if you have drinks on it.“
