“I can only honestly speak of my experience because I've read all the reviews.....my 1st Beach Trip Aug 13-16th....just got home and I'm gonna tell you I can't wait to go back....something must have changed because everybody was so accomodating....from the bar and restaurant staff that had to deal with my group of 28 people and never once blinked at making everything right to the housekeeping that were daily asking us if we needed stuff and quick to help.....I swear I can't wait to make my reservation for next year... they don't advertise anything they aren't and it's the perfect idea of what you need for a Beach Trip....on the beach as close as you can be.....I didn't want to come home....but....til we meet again you sweet people......I Thank You“

“We stopped here Monday 11/3/2025 breakfast at a local restaurant - as we just arrived to Rockport area night before as we'll be here all winter - the Food was OMG so good...Eggs Benedict w/ hashbrowns was so scrumptious... Hubby ordered the French toast....- this will definitely be our go to local place while we're here - portions are large and price is really affordable - staff makes everyone feel welcome.“

“We Loved this place! We ate here for breakfast. The food was great. It was hot, fresh, and served quickly. The staff & service was awesome. The restaurant was clean, and full of sports memorabilia which we absolutely loved. Our server (I think her name was Marie or Maria) was equally as awesome. She took care of all 10 of us, and was super nice and friendly.
We visit Port A often and this was our 1st visit to Coach's.

“10/10 would recommend. We visited Rockport for the first time for my husbands birthday / our baby-moon and we were excited to have great food throughout our stay... but were a little disappointed with a few of our first choices. That was until we started asking locals where the best food in town was. Several people pointed us to Copano's and it did not disappoint. We ordered the brussel sprouts as an appetizer, which were a great portion size and so good. My husband got a glass of cabernet, and their wine prices were super reasonable. Then for main courses, I got their 7 oz Filet which was cooked perfectly - tender and juicy. And My husband got their scallops, which he said were melt-in-your-mouth perfection. We finished off with their seasonal dessert of a MASSIVE chocolate brownie topped with ice cream... and when I tell you it was the best brownie we've ever had I am not exaggerating. Our server, Arianna, was some of the best service we have had in a long time. She explained all the specials, was prompt and personable (despite being triple sat) and checked on us at all the right times. Some people are just GREAT at serving, and it makes the whole experience - Arianna is one of them.

“Let me start out by saying I love this place The Island Cafe has turned into my favorite spot. The omelette’s are fluffy, the hash browns are crispy a the bacon is perfectly cooked.
Don’t even get me started on the pancakes….Let’s just say they are delicious.

“We both had the fried shrimp basket with onion rings. Everything was super crunch and delicious! The rings were a little greasy though. I was disappointed that we were charged for them even though we were told that we could substitute them for the fries for no additional charge. Despite that, we will return as everything else was great.
It's a sports bar so the staff happily changed the TV to the football game for us. The staff was attentive and nice. The music was low enough that we could have a conversation without yelling. Parking can be difficult if you have a larger vehicle as we do but there is better parking just across the street.
We visit Port A frequently and have eaten at almost all local restaurants. We plan to return to Stingray's!“

“the food was very good, we enjoyed it a few time before never a bad experience till this time. we got our ticket and left a cash tip. I wrote the total and left. turns out they gave themselves an extra tip and changed my total charge. it was Christmas eve so they stole a tip on Christmas eve. jolly holly tip, I didnt dispute it cause it wasnt alot but it was still the principle of it. not sure if id go back to eat. Definitely paying cash cause you cant trust your card there.“

“The servings are huge and the food was great! Quick service, but a little bit of a language barrier. One of the people in our party had a question and he tried to just ask an employee who did not understand, but rather than get our waitress, she just went about her business. Not a huge deal, but kept the service from getting 5 stars.“
