I arrived early and walked around the beautiful place and went to the counter when it shouldve been ready and it was!! Second day I went and sat in and got the breakfast bowl. “Braum’s has the best darn ice cream I’ve tried in North Texas. I’d attribute it to them being a regional company with farms so close to DFW and the A2 milk they use which is easier to digest for my whole family. I highly recommend trying out any Braum’s you see at least once and compare it to other ice cream places you may visit. The location in Denton has great customer service, may be a little confusing to access if you haven’t been there before but it’s worth the navigation.“

I do not remember the associate that helped me but she was working on the midday and evening shift on 12/29. “Holy cow! Truck came into Paloma Creek today (August 16, 2026). Saw it had soft serve. Got my neighbor to hold it up while I grabbed my wallet. Got a strawberry sundae for my wife and chocolate nut sundae for me. The soft serve was soooooooo creamy and smooth. Best soft serve I’ve had in years. My wife scarfed her sundae down in record time. “I've been eating food from this Sonic location between 2-4 times a month for more than 5 years now, and it really is the best Sonic in the country. I have absolutely no idea what the criteria for the actual competition is or how it's judged, but for anyone who's curious about what that looks like from the standpoint of a regular customer: The staff is always friendly and helpful, the facilities are well-maintained and clean, and when you combine those things with the way they've been actively in the local community, you get a very nice and authentic small town, drive-in vibe. The ingredients are always fresh, and I've never gotten even the slightest stomach ache from anything I've ever eaten from this Sonic. Whether it's the same cheeseburger I've ordered 100 times or a brand new special of some kind, most of the time that item will look like it's been dressed for a commercial. And as cool as it is for the food to *look* nice, this also means that you don't have to worry about stuff like getting a burger with mushy ingredients just plopped haphazardly between two buns. It's probably not a big deal to a lot of people and maybe it's something that other people who have worked in food service would notice, but yall - I can count on ONE hand the number of times I've gotten a cheeseburger that didn't have the cheese placed *perfectly*, in such a way that each of the 4 corners stuck out evenly from the buns and the patty. And thanks to the variety of specials that they almost always have running, usually you can get a good meal for a good price. Two very rare qualities in restaurants today, much less fast food places. And did I mention that the staff is friendly and helpful, too? Definitely worth a visit!“

We also ordered the Birista Kodi Vepudu and Guntur Kodi Vepudu, and both were outstanding well-seasoned, fresh, and a huge hit with everyone at the party. “This is a good location, and I love the variety of food options, which is one of the things I appreciate about Sonic. However, some of the food could use improvement. The ice cream is decent, but there are a few items I'd like to see enhanced.

For instance, the Texas Toast should be a bit crunchier when toasted. The burger's meat could be seasoned better and should be juicier and more tender, rather than resembling school lunch meals. Additionally, they should use a bit less sauce when dressing the burgers. The fries could also be cooked better and seasoned more effectively.

I would love to see these improvements in the future. Overall, though, it's not a bad restaurant. I really enjoy dining there, and I hope Sonic continues to offer a wide range of options and remains successful for years to come.“

“I've only been to Insomnia a handful of times, but they have all been phenomenal. My wife and I were looking for some delicious cookies to celebrate our anniversary. Unfortunately, Crumbl decided to go with a budget decision and make thin cookies, which is not what we had in mind at all. So we headed to Insomnia because it's always been great. We had a couple of seasonal cookies which were fantastic and several other cookies, along with some salted caramel ice cream which was exquisite. It didn't disappoint. The service was phenomenal. Our cashier even listened to our conversation enough to put our order in perfectly before we said anything to her at all. I highly recommend Insomnia, especially if you're looking for a delicious treat.“

“I cream treats are really good, but my favorite were the cheese curds. I was told to try them with caramel and powdered sugar, that they taste like funel cake. It will be next time because I'm going there again and again for treats. I might try the burgers then.
