This is the third time I've been to El Sunzal and the third time I've been floored with how amazing the food is. The pupusas are heavenly and the curtido that accompanies them is slap your momma good. Don't try to eat one without the other. Please. I tried the tamale de puerco and it was good but the ratio of meat to masa was very different from what I'm used to. That's a me problem not a them problem. Probably the best restaurant to get popusas and sopa de mariscos. 5/5 for food. Knocked it down a star due to all the disposable plastic ware used. Be prepared to wait a bit for food to be ready. Today (9/28) their card reader was down so was cash only.
