“First, we were late and I don't want to encourage being late, but it's the truth and we walked in at exactly 15 minutes after. The staff saw my frazzled self as I apologetically explained and they said not to worry. They'd take care of us. I'm not gonna lie, we were seated and still frustrated with ourselves and our waitress managed to make us feel warm and welcomed and totally calmed us down with her understanding and calm manner. From there on, we enjoyed a wonderful selection of dishes. The first was the fire roasted tomatoes with burrata. It's too good to describe. I had the lobster scampi this time and omg it was delicious. My husband always has the red fish which is favorite and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you, Red Ash, for understanding and making us feel so welcomed and thank you to our waitress, whose name I can't recall, for soothing us.“

“My friend and I came in Sunday afternoon. Actually we had intended to go to Outback but it was closed down. Carrabba's was right next door so we decided to try it. What a great experience! We received the best service from Edward. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was welcoming. The manager even stopped and chatted with us. We will be back, and will ask for Edward.“

“Mandolas is a wonderful restaurant. I love going in on Thursday. That's the day they have Cannelloni Florentina. It is delicious. Thin sheets of pasta stuffed with braised chicken, spinach, Romano & Fontina cheeses, baked in a became sauce with a touch of marinara. I pair it with a Mista salad. Nice mix of greens, olives, a bit of celery and a wonderful house dressing oils, herbs and cheese. Yum! The wait staff are friendly and attentive. They are the only restaurant in the area that the staff clears away plates and bowls to give you room to rest your arms, or make room for desert plates. It's always satisfying to eat at Mandolas. I take friends or meet friends at the restaurant often. It's nice to see the same staff at the restaurant. Managers and staff come to your table to check on you and ask if you need anything. If you do need something they bring it right away! I will be going back soon.“

“The pizza was fire. I had the shallots and Serranos and it had a solid level of heat but not too overpowering. Crust could have been slightly crispier but no significant flop so I was still very pleased with it. Highly recommend trying this pie but also adding sausage to it next time. I also hear their Caesar salad wrap available for lunch on weekdays is excellent as well“

Garlic knots were good, also got the fried zucchini yum and the sauce was great. 12 or more draft beers and sample offered Nice! We got the carnivore and margarita, liked the crust- margarita needed a little more flavor but still was good. Lots of staff keeping it clean and asking if anything else needed! I was honestly surprised not to see Juniper listed in the Michelin Guide. Compared to several Michelin-listed restaurants I’ve visited, Juniper delivers stronger dishes and more polished service. I believe Juniper would be a strong candidate for a Bib Gourmand, and with some refinement and stronger standout desserts, even a potential star.
