“I hardly ever leave reviews, but I had to for this one! I ordered a sandwich while I was in the middle of moving and accidentally selected pickup instead of delivery. When I called the store wondering where my order was, I realized the mistake was mine. I explained that I was moving and didn’t have time to come pick it up. The person I spoke with turned out to be the owner, and he personally drove my sandwich to my house. That is customer service that goes completely above and beyond. Not only are the Sammies 🔥, but the kindness and generosity shown to me during a stressful day won’t be forgotten. Thank you so much!“

“I went into Jimmy John's for lunch today and the machine was down could have been a terrible experience but the manager was apologetic and allowed me to get a large cup of ice water which I desperately needed in this hot Austin Heat and then on my way out we offered me a cookie for my trouble and I got to try the new peanut butter and jelly cookie from Jimmy John's and let me just say while I'm chewing away it is very delicious stop by when you get a chance when your machine is up and running“

“One of the employees whose name eludes me, but was a nice guy said if he didn’t have the employee discount he’d never eat here because it’s too expensive. While I agree with that I did find Jimmy johns to be a nice stomach neutral fast food solution for myself (and my dad the patient) while visiting the hospital every day for a month. I checked which JJ location had the best ratings, and this one narrowly came out on top. I’ve always had good experiences at Jimmy John’s, but I chose this location based on the rating.

I decided to order in person because I like to see my sandwich made and usually ask for extra lettuce and onions. It wasn’t too busy since it was close to closing time, and I was greeted right away. I showed them my birthday reward and ordered the Totally Tuna, which comes with cucumbers, lettuce, and tomato. JJ makes a solid tuna sub, and I always customize mine: extra cukes, extra lettuce, oregano, light oil & vinegar, Jimmy Peppers (love those), and of course, extra onions. They made it quickly and exactly how I wanted it — I asked for just a bit more lettuce and he happily added it.

When I mentioned that I came to this location because their ratings were slightly higher than others, two of the guys nodded right away. It was clear they knew this and took pride in it. That’s a really good sign — you can train skills, but you can’t train people to care. These guys genuinely do, and it shows in their work.

Also, a bonus: their bread is great, and they sell day-old loaves for 75 cents. I grabbed a couple — a few minutes warmed in the oven and they’re like new. Perfect for homemade sandwiches or garlic bread.

Overall, great service, great sandwich, great bread, and a team that takes pride in what they do. Highly recommend this location.“

“I haven't had too much of a bad experience other than what other's have stated, but then again I only go when there's a special during my lunch break. The complaints I have are them mostly never cutting it in 1/2 as I have requested in my online order or no mustard packets being added. I always go p/u in person&it's usually always ready by the time I get there 10 min's after ordering.“

“Walked into Jimmy John’s on Congress and they hit me with a Beach Club before I even finished ordering. Like, did they read my mind? Sandwich ESP? Turkey, avocado, lettuce, boom—no warm-up, no small talk, just lunch in hyperdrive. The bread’s not soft, but it’s got that dependable chew, like it’s saying, “I’m not fancy, but I get the job done.” Honestly, if the DMV ran like this place, we’d all have six driver’s licenses by now. Four stars because nothing should be that fast without a seatbelt.“

“Great jimmy johns, staff incredibly friendly, orders are always right, and is as they say freaky fast. Wish Jimmy Johns would cary Coke Zero, but, you can’t win them all! Overall a great location convenient, parking can be a bit difficult but always parking on the side of the building.“
