“I've eaten at alot of Halal Restaurants, and this outshine them all, Ali was very kind and courteous, he showed genuine enthusiasm in making us food, the little patio area outside was very cozy, and made it feel like a restaurant, not to mention the food was absolutely outstanding, you could tell that it was made with care, I don't think either of us took a single breath once we started eating, and when we left, Ali told us how grateful he was for us coming to his food truck. “My family reserved Dimassis restaurant (Research Blvd) for 150 guests for a meet & greet function for my new born son. I must say, every single guest enjoyed the experience that Dimassis provided. Abu Ali and Sammy were great hosts. The service was amazing. The food was hot, plentiful , and very delicious. The restaurant was very clean as well. It was a 10/10 experience , a five star experience.“

“The food is delicious. Very authentic Syrian cuisine. I grew up in Michigan, and the food reminded me of the places that we ate in Dearborn. I will definitely recommend all my friends to eat here.“

“This is by FAR the greatest CAVA I’ve ever visited. I’ve honestly had CAVA across the country, mostly in Boston and DC and I have never been wowed like this before.
Right off the bat I knew this was the spot to be. We walked in and the dining room was spotless. Not a single stray lettuce leaf on any tables. The music was at exactly the right volume, loud enough to be heard but not to interrupt conversation.
We approached the line and the team was incredibly nice. A couple bowls backed up, and another team member jumped in to make sure mine was started in a timely manner.
They gave us all individual attention, answered a couple questions and sent us on our merry way. The patio is a great little spot and our bowls were the absolute best.
Another thing I noticed and appreciated was the back kitchen. From the customer view it was clean and efficient. I love that they’ve implemented a separate space for online orders as it definitely takes away from some potential chaos.

I just wished that Tabbouleh isn’t too watery or has too much olive oil. Maybe it’s how Lebanese dish is cooked. The lady offered to bring the meal to my car which was nice.“

“Chako Halal Food Truck is located next to the Shell gas station at Braker Lane and Mopac. It has been on my list for a few months and I am glad I finally tried it. I was not too happy with the prices at first but the portions were generous and that made up for it.

I had the Chacko Mix which came with beef, chicken, salad, a bed of rice, and sauce on the side. The beef doner was amazing! It was slightly charred with great flavor. The chicken doner was a bit dry but the salad was unique and reminded me a little of tabbouleh. I would have liked a bit more sauce to help with the dry chicken but overall the dish was flavorful and satisfying.

My wife had the Beef Doner Wrap and it was huge. It was packed with beef doner and veggies and white sauce. It was very flavorful and she absolutely loved it.

All the food is halal and the service was friendly. There's seating behind the food truck. We would definitely eat here again.“

“Great seasoning on chicken shawarma, fantastic choice! Good tzatziki sauce as well and the falafel is good to try but the chicken shawarma was definitely my preference. My friend said the hot dog was fantastic and the burger was ok but we had the burger to go so it wasn’t eaten right away. The fries were seasoned well but I forgot to ask to make them extra crispy as is my preference. The guys are Super nice there, great customer service!“
